Just accepted the invite, but I have a question regarding this:
I'm still registered for the EUR-event (W32). Is it like last week, where if we accepted invites for the WGC Bridgestone Invitational and where in the field, we are automatically taken of the list for the other/alternative event on the European Tour?

If you qualify for the PGA, you can't not accept and then go play in the European. It doesn't work like that. You have to play the major or sit out the week. You still pick up race to dubai points in the Majors

Scratching my head a bit on this one. As a member of the Euro tour, I'm happy to get an invite... but shouldn't invites only be going to members of the PGA tour? Or are we filing this under the "The PGA of America reserves the right to invite additional players not included in the categories listed above" kinda category?

So they are all part of the PGA and Euro tours.

Pretty easy to figure out. Every time you get one of these invites, accept it. If it fills up before getting to your spot, then you are placed in the corresponding event. If you just ignore the invite altogether or decline, you are not allowed to play in the corresponding event.
