Field still isn't officially set - Tim has to do it and he's been busy Thanks. I didn't see an email but if not invited will I automatically get put into the minor for the week? I didn't register either because I wasn't sure which one I'd be in. |

Yea there was an email, an announcement on the forum and a story on the main page for the week - if you missed it and would have qualified via WGR you'll have to sit out the minor events. |

Well said. There's really nothing left to be added! Don't think you would feel that way edi if you where in my position on the outside looking in. Just outside the top 125 to keep your card, have struggled to make cuts all year and had to make money every week here on out to get in and keep your card. The strategic play for me is to play the Euro and get guaranteed money. Hey Elk... while I totally understand the thinking you have here, I think you're still missing one major thing: Those guys are doing us a favour by setting up an alternative tourney that week for all those not making it into the field. Don't we always yell for the most realistic implementing of the real tour(s)? So basically, you shouldn't even have to think about prefering to play the low EUR-tournament, because there shouldn't be one at all. |

Had a invite to the PGA championship and going by this forum if I did not accept I would not be able to play in the Euro minor event if I was not selected for the PGA. There are 6 players in the euro minor event with better wgr's than me who declined PGA invites also 3 on the PGA minor. Was the forum information correct ( ie. decline PGA invite and miss week ) ? They will be withdrawn |

So explain to me again how this helps sum1 in my standing. There are several players 1 ranked 5 spots better than me in WGR and about 5 ahead of me on Euro mny list playing the minor this week guaranteed a 28th place finish. This is what Ive been getting at the whole time.
Maybe if your gunna force ppl ranked outside the top 125 in Euro or respective mny list to play while others slip threw the cracks and end up in the minor you just shouldnt have the minor at all.

If those players were invited to the PGA then they will be removed from the minor event. But Doyley etc can't stop them from resgistering. If there are genuinely only 28 players in the minor Euro event then i really hope it doesn't go ahead tbh. Noone should be able to guaranteed a Top 25 just by turning up. |

They havent been taken off yet. I know Doyley @ comp. are very busy so give it another day. I know cant stop em from reg. just hope ALL of em that are ahead of me get removed. Thats the only reason I even brought this up to begin with. Hope a cpl ahead and right around me arent allowed to play and get 40k for finishing 10th outta 28 ppl. Get 10 to 15k just for showing up. If they all get removed when Doyley and comp. get a chance then thats great, and most importantly fair and within the rules. We shall see. Gl in the PGA every1 !!
