Big fan of the 10,000 limit on resources in your pack. Even with maxed out basic slots I was always short on space both in my suit and on my ship. My suits extra cargo slots aren't maxed out yet but I'm getting there. Between those and the 10,000 limit I now have no worry about running out of space anymore. Means I've been spending time just going from planet to planet getting as many different items as possible instead of waiting until I need something and then trying to find it.

I actually have one starship parked in my freighter that I use for an extra 36 slots storage. I just experimented with building an underwater base. So far so good. I want to get the submarine and check out some underwater VR with it.

I've had a couple bones and salvageable scraps planets and made a couple million in no time there. Still make cash too quick and easy just by scanning plants and animals. Over 50 million in the bank with no real effort and nothing to spend it on. Don't base build or do freighter stuff and I like my ship. Finally got my Atlas Pass v3 as well a few days ago. I have close to 20 mil in the bank but I do want to upgrade my starship and freighter. I also do a little base building but I haven't gone wild with it. At some point I'll build a farm base and grow space cannabis (nip nip) just for the hell of it. I have about 10-12 trays of Gravitino Balls growing on the freighter that I cash in for about 100-150K when I get on board. i also send out frigates on missions from the Freighter. They come back with some blueprints and a lot of cash most of the time. So much to do in this game, it's hard not to get sidetracked with stuff lol. There are better ways to earn money quick. I became billionaire yesterday. nomanssky.social/post/3680_finaly-finished-the-atlas-path-after-starting-from-scratch-wich-led-me-to-a-free.html

A few days into the game now and playing with no direction whatsoever. I understand that I have a few paths I can follow and ultimately I'm headed to the center, I'm just in no hurry. I'm content with just trying to get in good with the merchants and explorers and just trying to make some money and get upgraded. At present I really want a ship with more slots.. I've been upgrading the suit at each station but I'm always running out of inventory room despite already stacking out a freighter with all the storage capacity I can give it. I just dont know what I'll need so I'm hoarding a bit of everything Kinda seems like acquiring frigates might not be the best investment.. came across an s class dream ship last night but I'm a massive 15 mil short of the price tag, all in good time I guess

Came across an interesting 1 planet 1 moon system, and while its very much uninhabitable, it does contain ancient bones, salvageable scrap, emeril(activated) uranium, and of course storm crystals. After making some strategic exosuit upgrades this system has made me quite wealthy, and despite its small size the variety of natural elements between the two made it a good enough spot to build my first base. It is located in a cave and its sweet. I designed it to be a walker brain factory because they just dont stand a chance against me in there.
Now rocking a 40 slot ship as my main and picked up an exotic as well for when I go into the anamoly. Ive abandoned the freighter frigates since its not fulfilling at all and I dont think theres much use for more units anymore. Once I finish the base quests ill probably return to the story since I havent done much of it at all. I mean, I dont even know what these glyph things are

If there is a hostile attack, the Frigates automatically engage the enemy ships.

Like, kill a walker, then take off into space with max sentinel meter or whatever you call it. I could see how having a fleet of combat frigates would make that easier.. come to think of it if I had a fleet of combaters I could freely open fire on freighters when I get bored. Maybe Ill do that too.

New update today adds support for some weekend Nexus missions. New mission each weekend, will apparently run for at least a few months while revealing a story over time. It will also involve a bunch of people having to go to the same planet to do who knows what. Sounds like it could be interesting and hopefully I'll remember to check it out.

I may be the only one here playing on PS5 in which case I’ll be the only one that ever knew this was a problem but a patch came out today that fixed the massive glare/brightness problem the PS5 version had. Now I can finally see how much better the next gen version looks since you don’t get blinded while looking around in any direction.
