My blinders still only have me seeing VR and nothing else when it comes to this update. I got my PSVR two years ago yesterday, which is approximately how long I've been waiting for No Man's Sky VR.

They took some serious heat 3 years ago with lack of promised content when this launched. But updates 3 years later is a bit late but I'm sure I will jump back in as I am sure this more the thinking of what we should have got when the game came out.

Yes! I played this game for a few months awhile back and then put it down and waited for the developers to start doing some of the stuff mentioned there. This is going to be really cool! Can't wait to get back into it!

Too bad it only supports Dualshock or Move controllers for PSVR. Not a fan of the Move controllers in games that require movement since they lack joysticks and this just seems like a perfect game to use the Aim controller.

I guess somebody should throw out a happy 3rd birthday to the game as well. Glad I'll be able to see it again for the first time in just a few days.

Just a few hours to go. Going to try the Move controllers for a bit to see how they work, so making sure they're charged and ready to go. Still planning to make sure I'm on my home planet tonight as it may as well be the first place I see in Beyond. Getting pretty excited to see this thing.

I'm not the type of person to book time off from work just to play a new video game, but I am the type who is willing to go to work and then leave if it's slow and they ask if anyone wants to go home. Luckily for me today was one of those days and I wasted no time getting out the door.
Double luckily they decided to not make me have to sit around all day waiting for the update as it's downloading now(11ish GB).

I had some issues myself when loading in my old save, but doesn't matter, gonna restart from scratch after reinstalling NMS. No crashes so far, but a fix is in the works. kotaku.com/players-say-no-mans-sky-beyond-is-crashing-and-develop-1837244236

I've had one blue screen crash and a couple times where I had to quit because it wouldn't let me place objects or talk to characters. Probably wasn't a good sign that v.2.0 also came with 2.01 and 2.02 and 2.03.

Not a fan of pointing to a spot 10 ft away and then teleporting there. Much prefer a realistic walk/run. But being in my ship is great

And 2.05 today as well. You can walk like normal if you want without teleporting. I'm set up with normal walking but snap turning instead of smooth. Quickly went back to the standard Dualshock instead of Move controllers. Haven't spent much time in the update yet due to all the bugs and crashing yesterday. It's very impressive that the whole thing is available in VR, but the graphics are fairly fuzzy. Also not a fan of needing to power your base and keep it fueled just to use most of your stuff there.
