Totally agree with the suggestion about more variation in types of lies. The three big ones for me: 1) add the functionality for societies to disable vibration. 2) more in-game options for competitive play and tours. 3) different types of courses should feel more different. This is maybe the one thing EA did a lot better imo. Playing on a parkland course felt totally removed from playing on a links whereas on the 2K games fairway is fairway and rough is rough. I think more varieties of rough will make courses feel more different especially if long grass actually plays like long grass where your happy to just get it 50 yards back on the fairway. I almost forgot and this is a massive one, more options to set different green speeds. Let me pick the speed of the green from say 100 to 180 in units of one. Having just a pick of 5 different speeds is very limiting and frustrated. The ability to pick the pin position yourself for a society tournament would be great also. If you feel a pin is too near a slope to be playable on a certain green speed you'll have the option to move it.

Don't forget about what we said about being a caddy , The option if someone was playing live to just watch them without them knowing , like in the shoot ups where when u get shot u then watch a different player

It's wild man. I'll have a tap in putt then a crash come back and it's 6 feet. Usually I'll have a lot of crashes post updates then they dwindle back down to 3-5 a week. Right now it's a heavy load. However I 've had none since Friday. 6 rounds or so. Maybe not the same as your problem, but I used to play the game over a powerline. I would get kicked offline at least once a round. I switched to wi-fi for the game and haven't had a problem since playing online. Many a time holed a birdie putt come back and have to hit the putt again. Also at times I would lose a stroke and come back to the ball literally hanging over the hole. The game is very finicky with internet micro drop outs and powerline for me is not stable enough with the electrical wiring in my house. I do have powerline 1000 by Netgear. Thx for tip.

Is the game actually always crashing or just kicking you out in your rounds. With crashing I mean the game actually stops working. Maybe try the game through wi-fi to see if you problems persist. Another thing I have noticed with the Series X is it draws air in through the back and vents heat through the top. Give the console plenty of ventilation at the back. If your ambient room temperature is hot the consoles will be getting hotter also.

There is a black flash then 1 second after Flash it goes right to Xbox home screen. The games is closed. I go right back and everything works fine.

Might not be what you want to do but have you considered factory resetting your Xbox? Could be something conflicting with the game. I will let you know if I do but I haven't had a crash on the Series X yet. I once had a problem on PC where Fallout 3 just would crash with the loudest ear piercing noise. I found out it was a problem with my soundcard software and the game conflicting in the end after a lot of frustration. Also do you clean the console for dust?, a compressed air can is a good way to do this. Dust in the back vent will block airflow and cause heat issues. you shouldn't be getting these problems, something certainly isn't right.

Mine was a clean install from scratch , maybe the reason I am not having problems? Worth a try.

I will keep an eye on the the dust. I think this has gotten of the original thread. So I want to put in another wish A better character creator.

And a opportunity to bet your own matchplay purse . I wanna challenge Craig 10000 coins winner takes all . Setting up a 8 man or 16 man matchplay bracket within your society would be pretty awesome.

PS4 used to crash constantly no outright crashes on the PS5 but on rare occasions I get a black screen that lasts a couple of seconds then goes right back to where I was on the course. Not a big deal but the game is out for 9 months now this kind of stuff should have been sorted out already.

Career Mode: We should be able to have as many seasons as we want and therefore have the ability to set up the courses we want to play fo each tournament from the entire database.
