I don't play in modes where my handicap is used but I'd like to see them correctly implemented into the game by having ratings and slopes for each set of tees a course has. At least then people's handicaps would be accurate.

- New engine, it's old. Make it current gen only and PC. It's time to drop the PS4 and Xbox One. - New commentator - Career mode focus - Stop making it so that if the ball goes off the fairway 3inches you no longer have a club to get it to the green. Penalized in the rough is too harsh - Have players be different where you can focus on better skills in online matchplay. All players should have a set value of 100 max but if you want to be a better putter or hit the ball further and so on. - Remove the multiple clicks to close the game (it's ridiculous on PC how many buttons to exit the game) Agree on the heavy rough 100%. A wider percentage range of distance would be so much better than the current “you’re in the heavy rough, gonna have to club up at least twice to get to the green 🙄😒”. Distance control is huge in golf and wider lie ranges would make things like heavy rough and bunkers more interesting and challenging in a more fun , not impossible way. I also think it’s more than a bit dumb that you can hit a 3 iron better from heavy rough than a hybrid or fairway wood. It’s supposed to be the other way around! Since it’s a wish list thread, I’ll ad another request that would vastly improve gameplay (imho). We have light rough and we have heavy rough; why don’t we have just plain ol’ “rough”? I like the light rough as a “first cut” as it’s not too penal but still ads a bit of spice to your next shot for being “just a bit off the mark” and I like the heavy rough as a “don’t hit it here” type hazard but there’s currently no in between. I really think a surface that offers anywhere between 110% (flyer 😉) down to 75-80% (sitting down) would really add to the playability and immersion factors that a lot of players seem to be asking for.

How about not having to unselect / reselect controller several times to enable game play in XBox? Ridiculous. I play on Xbox and have literally got no idea what you're talking about? Are you using more than one controller?

We need more cuts of rough such as medium cut rather than less penalising heavy rough. Yes it is silly that you can hit a 3 iron a fair distance out of a poor lie in the game, but you still shouldn't be able to hit any long iron or hybrid with a poor lie from the heavy stuff. Would also be good to have a long grass lie and the ball should be unplayable if it's in the middle of a bush for example. This would really up the challenge of the game because we do get of lightly to be able to hit shots that we couldn't in real life from certain lies.

With the move to “nextgen” consoles and decent PC’s how about upping the meter in designer to make more immersive courses. Porting files over from ‘21 and having them at 120% is ridiculous. Make the meter 200% (well, leave it at 100%, but make each percentage hold twice as many assets)

I want a completely finished game.
Also be nice to not have the game crashes. I get about 30 a week. One crash put down my Series X for 30 minutes. Screen went black. Turned off for 10 minutes and came back on to a black screen again. Thought it killed it. Luckily I got back up a few minutes later.
And for crying out loud get the leaderboards perfected.
Option to have 2 or 3 types of sand per course

I'd be perfectly happy if they fixed the drop system and added cross-platform societies.

I get maybe 2-3 crashes a week maximum, and nearly always it's when I'm in the menus, not actually playing. How are you getting that many?

In the EA game you can drop closer to the hole! 🤣🤣 I don't understand why they can't spline a drop zone and link it to a hazard?

I can't see why lateral hazard red stakes are so hard to implement into a golf game, point of entry two club lenghths. The game treats the hazard as if they are yellow stakes. Recently dropped rather than rehit on the 18 and it destroyed my up to then good round. I couldn't get the ball back into play and it cost me 7 strokes for the hole. Regarding the EA game, it doesn't want to put you on a slope so stupidly the ball rolls through slopes in the rough and it can even drop it on the green closer to the hole because it's a flat lie, crazy. As stupid as HB's golf avatar can look on sloped lies in the rough I would rather that than a ball rolling through the long stuff or the ball being moved to different place to where it ended up.

I honestly have had just the one crash on PC so far in this game after hundreds of hours put in. The fact that your XB had back screen issues and not turning on for 10 minutes, that sounds like overheating issues.

Totally agree with the suggestion about more variation in types of lies. The three big ones for me:
1) add the functionality for societies to disable vibration.
2) more in-game options for competitive play and tours.
3) different types of courses should feel more different. This is maybe the one thing EA did a lot better imo. Playing on a parkland course felt totally removed from playing on a links whereas on the 2K games fairway is fairway and rough is rough.

I'll have a tap in putt then a crash come back and it's 6 feet. Usually I'll have a lot of crashes post updates then they dwindle back down to 3-5 a week. Right now it's a heavy load. However I 've had none since Friday. 6 rounds or so.

Actually, after 3rd try I turned TV off then back on an boom I had it back up and running.

Maybe not the same as your problem, but I used to play the game over a powerline. I would get kicked offline at least once a round. I switched to wi-fi for the game and haven't had a problem since playing online. Many a time holed a birdie putt come back and have to hit the putt again. Also at times I would lose a stroke and come back to the ball literally hanging over the hole. The game is very finicky with internet micro drop outs and powerline for me is not stable enough with the electrical wiring in my house.
