Had played like a dog in R2 on Euro, so decided a drink was in order for TST. R1, struggled. A decent par train to start, then a couple of bogeys and bird to finish. +1 for the front 9 Got it back to -2 on the back, then stood on 18 and inexplicably played a cut right into the fairway bunker. Got it out to 20ft or so, but couldn't read the last couple of foot correctly and ended up behind the hole. 68 (-1) Under read a LOT of putts. R2, the wine kicked in, and despite closing with 5 straight pars (couldn't get a thing to drop ) managed a respectable 59 (-10) -11 at the half way mark. Will be sure to get pissed before I finish up. paddyjk19 - What a fantastic RCR. One of the best I've played, and typical of many of may favourite IRL tracks. Superb job. Reminds me a lot of Woodhall Spa (the real track - not the RCR, which is a bit, erm, lumpy). Thank you and well played! You'll be pleased to know I have Woodhall Spa in my WIP's with the new bunkering. After I finally get Enodoc ported, I'm either going to finish Swinley Forest or Woodhall Spa. Both will be long projects as SF has miles of heather as does Woodhall although the latter is more scrub in places so it might be easier to do than acres of uniform heather

Frans, will the qualifying for flights be based on results so far or the next couple of weeks?
The driver into a clubhouse window off the green on 18 this week might have cost more than a fine and a talking-to if it's the former 😂

What a great course - 6400 yard beast! LOL
After finishing 69th week 1 and 90th week 2 with a 76 to close, I fixed up my wedges with fittings so my ratings are all 80s for them now.
It helped a lot but West Hill was so tough, I did everything I could to get a 71 (+2) on 31 putts - a lot for me, 2nd round was so much smoother for me, only bogeyed 13 and 18 for a 67 (-2). Good luck everyone.
Fantastic job with the course Paddy - Enodoc I've played a lot on 2K21 - another stellar track.

I’ve been having countless arguments with the casuals on Facebook about how length is irrelevant when up against an strongly routed short course. Had a guy say he could never use a sub 7000 yard course for his society because it would get chewed up… I asked him to go watch the 2013 US Open at Merion (another favourite of mine). IRL I get bored of just hitting driver off every tee, I love having to use my whole bag of clubs and having to think my way round. West Hill is even harder IRL because heather is basically minimum a shot penalty IRL, if you actually find your ball! Having played Enodoc a few times IRL it’s one of the hardest courses I’ve played, which again is testament to ageless design, it’s just at you from the first shot! I’ve also played West Hill with hickory clubs and a guttie ball and that place must have been the hardest course going in those days, long, brutal and no respite on the greens

No more daft drivers off the green. Can't wait!

Really enjoying the TST. Struggling a little bit this week, not great scores, but did have this highlight in the second round 😁. Even the albatross couldn't save me 😁. Hopefully be able to come home strong with a good final 2 rounds. Great course Pat.

Very happy with my final 2 rounds, +1 and +3. Especially the final round as I thought the pin placements were very tricky. A lot of movement very close to the hole. Great course and loving TST. Maybe an under par week coming up 🤞. Onwards

With 2 weeks of results in, TST flights are now live! To kick things off this season we're starting with 3 flights - Nicklaus, Palmer & Hogan. So far, 88 players have qualified into a flight. (A reminder that completing 2 TST events in a 4 week period is required to be assigned to a flight) Week 3 links - Flight Player ListsFlight LeaderboardsFedEx Cup Standings for the new season are now also live and can be viewed here - FedEx Cup StandingsGood golfing everyone!

Eagle - Eagle always helps after a good few drinks! Always a result on the 6th, beware of when she bites back! Particular when that pin heads up the shelf!
