On Xbox it gets rid of the random black very fasts that you get out of nowhere.

I'm a PC gamer, but I plunked down a bit of money on the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma. We'll see what it will do as it's supposed to arrive today.

13 pages of this thread tells us one thing......
The tempo system in this game is too unreliable. The idea is good, but the implementation is just not precise enough.

I've been anxious to read your thoughts on the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma bubbadave. Have you had enough seat time with it yet to give us your impressions of it?

I’ve had loads of time with it and being a wired controller it’s much more reliable with this game than a wireless Xbox controller which is what I replaced with it. I probably hit 95% grey slows at the start but that will be straightened out with time on the range calibration. I’ve hit one black very fast with a pitch but none with a driver or approach iron most of my fasts are no further into the grey area than half way and the same with slows. No very slow swings into the black zone because my thumb doesn’t slip on the stick. I no longer fear water on the left of the fairway like I did with an Xbox Elite 2 wireless

I see that I can buy a refurbished V2 Chroma at Amazon for $90, whereas new it's $150. I've had good luck buying reconditioned controllers in the past, so I may just give the reconditioned one a go. I'm currently playing with an Elite 2, so hearing your experience was especially beneficial to me.

Since I started using the Wolverine I’ve gone from CC-J up to CC-D that’s in round about 3 months and won my first ever tournament

I really think I need to spend 20+ hours with it before I get a 'feel' for it. I'm most concerned at this point with calibration. Does anyone know whether the calibration is per device or game-wide?

Looking to buy a new PS5 controller.
Anybody know which is better and the pros and cons?
I’m just too lazy to do complete research, lol
I mainly play Golf…
Razer Wolverine V2 Pro Wireless
Or
Dual Sense Edge wireless

A lot depends on where you like the thumb position, the Razer controllers are shaped like Xbox controllers with thumb position (which I personally prefer)

Anyone know if the Victrix Gambit Dual Core Tournament Wired Controller will pass? I was contemplating getting a Razor Wolverine V2 on sale thru Amazon, but then the Victrix showed up on sale at Gamestop for $39.99. So I decided to give it a try. Pick it up today, hopefully.

Hi,
Earlier in this thread it's suggested that 125hz polling is baked in to the X-Box regardless of controller, meaning a 250hz controller will only register 125hz when used with an X-Box.
I bought a Razer Wolverine V2 because it was recommended for this game, partly because it has a higher poling rate than the stock X-Box controller.
After calibrating it my game immediately improved and I now very rarely hit bad shots where I don't understand what I did wrong.
If the V2 is limited to 125hz by the X-Box, then why would it be so much of an improvement?
And am I still at a disadvantage compared to PS or PC players because of a baked in poling rate limitation?
Thank you for any input.

Thank you for any input. I don't think the V2 is limited to 125hz on Xbox as the controller has always been advertised for it's faster response time on Xbox, also there are other 3rd party controllers that have higher polling rates than 125hz on Xbox. I think the reason for the 125hz polling rate on Xbox controllers is purely for better battery life, though not sure why they limit it to 125Hz through USB though.
