Thanks to everyone who put time and effort in to get Hello Friends out there. Your work is appreciated. In regard to ‘the course’. Once upon a time it was a place I would have walked over broken pieces of Penfold Commando balls to play. Magical, mystical, mythical…. As I am now a lot older, and I learn more about them, wouldn’t give them the time of day. Love watching the first major of the season on TV - the cue for my own real world golf season to fully get up and running, but as an institution, that place can do one

Played this today and had a putt on 12 about 50ft from the left side to pin 4 160 green speed. Aimed about 10ft left and finished 7ft right. Watched the 2021 Masters on YouTube and Faldo commented the green can break up to 4ft which sounded about right from what I've seen over the years.

I really like both golf courses!! I shot way over par on both courses!! The greens are very hard to read!! But still, I like both courses!!

But the course is still everything you described. This one and The Open are unmissable sport.

Played this a couple of times (major version) and it's absolutely the best rendition out there. I have a question though -- the tees are set up for each round of the actual tournament (ex. Red = day 1)? If so, it's a brilliant idea, but I'd like to know which pins to use for each round.
Thanks for making this; I appreciate all the hard work that went into it.

Can they change their past? Of course not...but I believe Billy Payne made meaningful strides to begin moving the club into the 21st century and that work has been continued by Fred Ridley.

Great rendition; only issue I have, and maybe its my pc, though don't have it on too many holes on other courses is some instability of the 3 click meter on a few tee shots, for e.g., 11 and 13...I have played about 7 times, and same even with crowds off. I have a pretty solid laptop gamer too.

The pins change each year aside from a few usual suspects. I’m not sure if the tees are tied to particular days but they’re all back tees with a few different ones on par 3s for variety. I believe pin 4 is Sunday pins

The par 3's have different tees to match the masters.com website distances from 2022, for instance, 4 plays shorter some of the days. All par 4s and 5's have one tee to match.

I made the above post the other day; I discovered Dell had not updated my vid drivers...huge difference now and no issues with the above concerns...lesson...check your drivers updates.

I should maybe clarify my view on Augusta National as an institution. My view on them is nothing to do with historical issues of a non-golfing nature. My disdain for them surrounds a club that is so remote, detached, and aloof from the rest of golfing humanity, that it isn’t a real golf club. It’s the preserve of ex-presidents, those with off-the-radar wealth, and while many golf clubs are ‘exclusive’, that place stands alone in that regard.
I can, and have, played the courses on the Open Championship rota. I have played Kingsbarns, a couple of Ryder Cup host courses. I have played Gleneagles… there are similar big courses in the USA where you can actually play them as an ordinary golfer - might be expensive, but at least the gates aren’t 100% shut in your face.
Over here, maybe Muirfield gives off that awful whiff of ultra-posh exclusivity, but even then, I’ve driven up to it, wandered around a bit after speaking with the professional, who said it was fine to take some photos and have a look. Hell, he even gave me a handful of Muirfield tees and a ball marker, gave me some stories about the place. Cannot see me even getting into Augusta’s grounds without being arrested for trespass.
Too posh, too exclusive, too up themselves… by a country mile. IMHO.
