I'll start by saying this is a wonderful recreation, fantastic job. After growing up seeing this track on TV, i thought the sightlines and the elevations were really very well done. I have already favorited it and will be playing this a lot. I played 4 rounds last night, tried a couple different pins (1 and 3) with the default 160 speed. I can say with certainty that, just like the real thing, you simply can't be on the wrong side of the pin on these greens. Perfect example was on 15, the 3 position is devilish, you HAVE to be left of it, if you are long you are putting or chipping back down the hill toward the water (first time I backed WAY off on the putting distance, pretty much to the top of the ridge above the pin) hit a smidge too hard and putted into the lake . The second round I hit to the left with a 6 iron and got it to spin a little, was able to make birdie there. I'm looking forward to playing more rounds to see what other situations I can find. For the record the best round I could muster so far was +4 and was pretty happy with it Thanks for the effort in putting this together!

It’s LiDAR data so most of the slopes are exactly as they are IRL. It was slightly dated LiDAR so I know pobee10 had to do a lot of manual sculpting for the changes to 11 and 15 whilst I helped with a “guess” of the new 13th tee (turns out I was 3 yards too long with my guess). 160 is the limit for those greens, they play nice on 155 too and 138 (if that’s medium) is actually a really nice speed for playing it

Really enjoying this one. Thanks for the effort on it. It does a great job replicating the elevation changes on the course and the severity of some of the greens.
Thank you!

If you watch closely during coverage, there’s a little sandy beach in Rae’s creek on 13, it’s obviously not white like the bunkers but we only get one sand texture Hi Paddy From what I've seen I think the area in question is more bare earth/stone rather than sand/bunker. Also as it's not been present in other versions I've played or coverage I've seen on TV, it just stuck out to me that was all. Thank you for putting your time and effort into having this course in the game, I look forward to having many rounds in the future. It’s very fine pebbles / coarse sand but like I said, it’s not possible to have different shades of sand texture so just tried to recreate that as closely as possible. As for what other recreations have done, we’ve not based this on other recreations but have just put our own interpretation on it. When playing other recreations there’s always things I pick out that don’t quite match the real thing, whether it be planting or whether it’s in accurate elevations. I’m sure there are other designers who will want to edit some of the stuff we’ve done but ultimately I know Patrick and myself were very happy with this end product and it’s great to have a LiDAR version with the most current updates to the course, particularly on 11, 13 and 15

Just played, default conditions, pin set 1. Superb job. Loved it…. On the back nine, the only par I had was at the 10th. Everything else was boom or bust!

Great course! Why though do all the Augusta-ish courses use mulch though instead of the actual pine straw which gives the same color?

Played another round and noticed you removed the sand in front of 13. Interesting !! This is easily the best version of the course we all know and love !!

I would like to see if any of the golf course designer will make Champions Retreat Golf Club (https://www.anwagolf.com/en_US/course/index.html)! That would be really cool to play it on pga tour 2k23!

I just had a look at ANGC on Google Maps and it looks.... different... Surprisingly it's been like that for over 12 months. Look at Bing Maps. Has that course in Georgia in all it's resplendent emerald green glory!

Google must use better satellites, they are a lot more defined at closer range.

Go to YouTube. Search for the Crazycanuck1985 tutorials. Get crackalackin. This isn't a request line.
