Really enjoyed guys had two rounds one under default conditions and one under clear weather setting, just thought the course looked so much better under clear but its a setting i like others might disagree (picture below clear),also did crash twice at amen corner each time i played on xbox one but let me rejoin when loading it back up just hope it was a server issue..Overall great to have a Lidar version with the others as well all down to choice which you enjoy most.  |

I always think it’s good to produce an interesting weather combo as default because the player can easily select sunny weather or clear weather as an option but they can’t select a fog or murky setting unless the designer gives you that as default. Just a view I have on that one! I’ve been enjoying playing it without crowds etc, it’s nice to just have a quiet round out there! The 13th new tee was done using aerials as a guide so no idea if it’ll be exactly that come April but I think it plays well, much harder to get round the corner and leaves that tempting 230-250 yardage. Back in the day the guys were hitting 2 irons off a hanging lie which is much more risk reward, same with 15th. I also prefer the new 11th tee shot, much more forgiving because the challenge of that hole is the second shot and the length, no need for it to be as narrow as it was in bygone years. The deeper run off on the right plays good too |

I quite enjoy just playing it without as you get to really appreciate the vistas and architecture plus we normally only see it with crowds and stands so it’s nice without. pobee10 did say he’s doing a tournament version though so there will be both |

Just played it with a couple of friends on Xbox X. Took an age to load but no crashes or issues otherwise. One said 13 was a bit laggy for him but it was fine on my screen.
We all thought it an excellent version of the course which cannot be named. Those slopes got me a few times, as intended! Really nice job. Such a shame it can't be better publicised. Think my playing partners were -4 and -3, I ended up at +2 and loved every shot.

Favourited in case of the the jacket gang.
The engine shows up big movements in land via LiDAR causing some of the bunkers to look jagged.
Great version and can’t wait for the tourney version.

Not sure if anyone else has already said, but I'm not sure why there's a bunker in the creek short of the green on hole 13, is this on purpose as I can't recall other versions having this?
I know a tournament version is coming, which is great news, as the course just felt empty to me without crowds and tournament stands and cameras where they normally are, but thank you for publishing.
I look forward to the tournament version in due course

The members must feel the exact opposite when the circus comes to town, all cluttered up with stands and people.
The other 51 weeks a year there would be nobody out there and it must seem surreal.

Also as it's not been present in other versions I've played or coverage I've seen on TV, it just stuck out to me that was all. Thank you for putting your time and effort into having this course in the game, I look forward to having many rounds in the future. |
