And while we're at it, as we head towards the finishing post with the match finely balance at 18-18 I'd like to thank Art Art Vandelay personally and publicly for taking over the scoring duties both in the regular season and the Cyder Cup. I know how tough it can be especially when difficult calls are thrust upon you. He has dealt with everything the Vandelay way. Calm and collected. I can't thank him enough. Also Carol inflames47 and Sean prowse00 deserve a special mention for all the work they are taking on. I am now back to thoroughly enjoying my time here and can't wait for the next round. My only fear is being put out to pasture now that I can see I'm not really needed! You can play some xbox golf with your spare time with us đđ The XB is killing me! Sometimes I'm sublime and the next time I play I can't hit a barn door with a banjo. So random! I'm going to just play with Ken's coggin66 group for a while and see if I can become the master of it!

Sure hope he takes some penicillin too! We might be calling him Paully Rotten Bollocks soon. In my professional opinion, and Iâm certain Dr. Bing would concur, after an evening of rough, unprotected sex with Scary, our Mr. Bradford will require a cocktail of three high powered antibiotics for no less than 6 weeks. Donât be surprised if he ends up with a prosthesis.

Day 4 Match 16 âSingles â Monarchs Doe âThe Humungusâ Coba vs. Strikers Andy âThe Road Warriorâ Gammons
A final report and last dose of CliffsNotes. As Day 4 starts to wind down, letâs all take a moment and ponder these wise words from Cliff: âWhen the Squatch is chasing youâŚRUN!â Summary: Tough course. Ran out of tears. With the teams so close and the Cup still up for grabs, Doe was excited to get started and give Andy a round to remember for the rest of his days. He wore his full-face, metal helmet to protect from errant golf balls and speedos to give him that aerodynamic edge with his swing⌠Andy was ready with his trusty caddy dog by his side⌠âLetâs go, brother!â Doe shouted impatiently. âSure thing, Doe.â Doe won the first hole establishing an early lead, which Andy swiftly answered with 2 eagles and a birdie over the next four holes. Doe retaliated with a par at 7 but Andy scored with a birdie and par in quick succession on 9 and 10. At the beginning of the 11th, Andy looked behind him for his caddy but he was nowhere to be found. Apparently, Shep had hooked up with a friendly gal who was hanging around 10th green garbage cans⌠This left it wide open for Doe from here on out. Unfortunately, Doeâs peripheral vision was greatly compromised by his protective helmet⌠And was only able to score an additional two holes over the next eight. After the 18th, Andy called Shep back then celebrated his victory with canned goods... Strikers 1UP

Prior to the final report coming out I just want to say a few words.
I'm a transparent person so here goes: When this Cyder Cup started, I had it 100% on my mind that I would be retiring as captain from the Magners Monarchs. The competition had deviated from what I had hoped it'd be and I had lost interest. I had hogged it long enough and it was time for someone else. What a fitting end, Cyder Cup V and 5 is my number for everything.
But then this week happened and I realized how much fun it was. The heartbeat in my chest this morning playing that round made me feel all kinds of alive. Long story short: I can't be done.
I'm typing this as I'm driving back from the funeral of the youngest brother of 2 of my friends. A place where I spoke of the tenacity of a young man on a football field who will unfortunately be more remembered by the final score than how he played.
So Cyder Cup V isn't the one where I'm tossing in the towel or hanging it up, it's the one that happened during a week where I learned a lot about life. One I will not soon forget because of the shared day of my mom's passing and the son/brother of a close family to me. The year where the monarch passed the torch to the cardinal (that's a whole other story there).
I told my wife this week what a blessing it was to have this competition this week because it kept my mind off the other things. Getting to stream today was so much fun and brought back so many good memories. The streaming wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for this competition. You can call them coincidences but some people out there don't believe in those.
So I don't know what the future holds but I learned a lot of lessons about not giving up, saying all the words, and that you shouldn't let the unfortunate result of 18 holes cause you to forget that still played some pretty good golf. Que serĂĄ, serĂĄ
Thank you to everyone for everything and I can't wait to see how it pans out. The joy has definitely been in the journey đ
