Kinda bored with it all at the moment. Main issue for me atm is the lack of competition in the sense that finding a comparable car that matches the AI is hard. Second menu thingy they suggested a 1983 GTi, but I could not find one in the shop for sale. Then I picked an way overpowered Alfa Mito because i did not have anything else to use and the game allowed me to race like that. Unlocked the '65 Fiat 500, then decided to use it for the next race and it was way too slow. Went back to Mito and won by a country mile again. Spending money trying to search for and find a car that matches the AI for maybe just a single race or two is counter productive. Anyway, seems like the game is still slowly unlocking stuff as one goes along and maybe racing will become more evenly matched up i hope. I plugged the wheel in after messing about with the ps controller for a while, wowzer, does makes a big difference in immersion compared to the controller. Then went to go and smash a random license test time i did with the controller previously and 7 tries later still could not beat the one and only run i did with the ps controller earlier Probably my right foot at fault but still surprising considering the much smoother steering input one gets with a wheel. Oh, got 3 lottery tickets so far. Won 2k, 2k and 2k. Cheapskates Finally had a chance to have a proper look around. Banged in the first couple of licences without stopping for breath. Looking like you have to drive in reverse not to win the gift cars but the other races seem to present more of a challenge. Definitely a wheel brings far more to the table. Looking like it's going to be a lot of fun. In other news shocked to hear of the passing of Shane Warne. The greatest spin bowler of my lifetime. RIP. A true legend of the game of cricket.

Much happier with the game today! My friend wants to know that can the refund he got last night be reversed? Please! Pretty please!!! My free credits turned up also. Was wondering where they were last night. Up to Menu 13 and accumulated 26 cars so far - also passed 2 or 3 licences. Just getting thru them at this stage - can always go back later and try to improve. Does anyone know how or where the separate music download fits in?Taking a guess Pete, but i think one gets to choose the song one wants to hear while driving the music rally

Today was job and knock , so as I'd gotten a early finish I decided to do something productive and do three of the licences. Just got the Special Licence to do, but seeing as that will need to have completely clean laps of the tracks I'll hold fire on them until I've had some practice laps. So far I've only brought the little Toyota which has done me well in stock form ,winning all of the Sunday cup races. For the High Speed Ring competition I used the Scirocco which is the prize for doing National B licence on all bronze. It p!ssed all over the other cars in the championship winning both races by well over 20 seconds. Not buying any cars until I've hit the wall on what I can do with the cars I win as prizes. Think I've opened up all the tuning which means I can stuff a Porsche engine in the Beetle, can't beat shoving a big engine in something it wasn't supposed to be in . Stopped for a hour or two for dinner , back for more later.

Been working through the Menu cards here mainly picking up the gift cars though have had to buy a couple along the way (like when they gave me a Yank car that looked like something the Beach Boys would drive to surfing, totally useless for the race I was wanting to win). Done 3 of the licences, had a bit of a play on the Missions and generally had a fair bit of fun. Not like the golf

Wow, I woke up to the sad news of Shane Warner's passing. A true sporting legend. It's been a tough couple of days for Australia's Cricket family as Rodney Marsh passed away a couple of days ago as well. RIP Gentlemen

Realised earlier today that inspite of picking 'experienced' or whatever the tab was called at the start of the game, that a number of driving assists were still active. I suspected that traction control was on, but was surprised to see stability control was on too. Switched them both off just before I bought my first proper ride - the 75k Shelby 350 to do the American leg of the menu books. Quite the handful but oh so much fun to drive! Had to retry a few times after been too eager with the gas pedal. My early boredom has changed into a crazy grin. Stuck now where i have to finish up the A? license in order to continue with menu books. I have not done any races outside of the menu books ones yet. Looking at the eye watering price tags on the pretty rides and the lackluster payouts for races so far I hope there are some big money races somewhere or owning a Ferrari and a Porsche will take a few years of dedication. Still no luck with the raffle tickets - 5x 2000 credits, 1x 10 000. Nearly yanked my arm out of my shoulder fist pumping when i finally hit the larger pile of coins. Noticed one can spend real cash to buy in game cash, no wonder

Off to put a rubber band on my trigger to rack up the credits....

Anyone else been online yet ? Had a couple of goes last night in the Sports Pavilion on the High Speed Ring with the first three cars you're offered to start with. Everyone seemed to behave themselves although they might be trying to get their driver and safety ratings up. Multi player will be the one to set any Brew Crew racing. Probably will have a closer look later . Turned the track line and brake marker off and glad I did as the tracks look a lot better. Going to go back and do those ones done with the assist's again, but not today. Might have to put them back on for some of the special licences, some people on the gt7 forum have said that some of them are almost impossible without them

Turned all the assists off yesterday, enjoying it much more. Haven't been able to play as much as I would have liked but just got to the point of opening multiplayer etc.
The plan was to not spend any credits but had to buy the golf and sport it out. The little boy racer in me got the better of me! Haha!

Picked up my 50th car....still a way to go!! Not tried online yet, I'm not the type to just throw myself in at the deep end. Happy tootling about at my own pace in single player for now.

Made 2 large car buys so far, a Porsche GT3 RS and the DTM Alfa Romeo 155
Up to menu book 20 something now, 28 maybe?, not sure. Received my fair share of raffle tickets.
Every single time but twice i got the smallest amount of coins. On the other two occasions i got the second smallest amount of coins. Just born and bred unlucky or developers under the impression i might buy some coins?
