Dug out GT Sport for a few spins this week and after my initial dithering about GT7 I'm glad I dug out the PS/G29 and I'm pretty excited for Friday. Hopefully swap a few thoughts and tips about GT7 here.... I have this preordered.. Will give it a whirl at midnight! |

No plans to upgrade to PS5 here. I thought I was done with Playstation. PS4 will do. But then again, I said I wasn't going to bother with GT7.... LOL Bought the PS4 just for Red Demption II. Pinky promised my daughter back in the days i'll get the game for her when it is released, had to get the console too then, gosh. Came with God of War - which neither of us were interested in - since played TGC '19 and GTA V for less than an hour playtime combined maybe. (played gta v prior on ps 3 and pc already by then) Decided its last time i was going to buy a console. Ever. Last week i was searching for a PS5. Would have bought one if there was any stock available. New PC's just waaaaay crazy expensive to buy here atm. |

Difficult to justify the cost when it needs upgraded when the consoles probably cover most of my gaming needs as I get older and more senile! The main thing I'd miss are games such as Automobilsta 2, Train Sim, ETS/ATS which are well served by mods and not available on console. But I have 2 gaming PC's so hopefully one of them will keep going to play old stuff on! Been impressed with the Series X and thinking perhaps consoles will be my future. The tech aspects of PC's is growing beyond my abilities. |

Been playing for 90 mins and gotta say I'm a little disappointed.
Progression is extremely corny and clunky. Actual racing gameplay is ok although I expected more from the PS5 controller. Hopefully I get more response when the cars get more powerful and we're going faster.

Hopefully I get more response when the cars get more powerful and we're going faster. The faster I go the more I crash. Give me a JCW Mini any day of the week. I suppose the progression is designed to give the game longevity. As for the PS5 controller I've only seen positives, until your comment of course lol How do you get a refund? Asking for a friend  |

Ben gonna love this game, it has a whole screen FULL of car collectables!!!! 400+
Took me 3 tries to collect gold in the drive-by-music opener and then did my part for climate change by buying a hybrid as my 1st car purchase. Hitting the sack now, got as far as viewing my garage and visiting the cafe.
Feels quite different than FH5, maybe it is just the PS controller vs X-Box one. Lot more sensitive to inputs. Will try my wheel sometime later today or over the weekend

Had a couple of hours worth of driving to start, not too fussed about music rally .
So far done the first two Sunday cups and got the first licence. Like the idea that you can see how your friends have done on the test. Gotta have another go not to be last. Previous GT's it was, that'd do, got bronze move on to next test.

I think Music Rally’s a bit of a waste of space. Bought 2 cars in my eagerness to collect that I could have easily got for free. Lesson learned!! |

Much happier with the game today! My friend wants to know that can the refund he got last night be reversed? Please! Pretty please!!!  My free credits turned up also. Was wondering where they were last night. Up to Menu 13 and accumulated 26 cars so far - also passed 2 or 3 licences. Just getting thru them at this stage - can always go back later and try to improve. Does anyone know how or where the separate music download fits in? |

Kinda bored with it all at the moment. Main issue for me atm is the lack of competition in the sense that finding a comparable car that matches the AI is hard. Second menu thingy they suggested a 1983 GTi, but I could not find one in the shop for sale. Then I picked an way overpowered Alfa Mito because i did not have anything else to use and the game allowed me to race like that. Unlocked the '65 Fiat 500, then decided to use it for the next race and it was way too slow. Went back to Mito and won by a country mile again. Spending money trying to search for and find a car that matches the AI for maybe just a single race or two is counter productive. Anyway, seems like the game is still slowly unlocking stuff as one goes along and maybe racing will become more evenly matched up i hope. I plugged the wheel in after messing about with the ps controller for a while, wowzer, does makes a big difference in immersion compared to the controller. Then went to go and smash a random license test time i did with the controller previously and 7 tries later still could not beat the one and only run i did with the ps controller earlier  Probably my right foot at fault but still surprising considering the much smoother steering input one gets with a wheel. Oh, got 3 lottery tickets so far. Won 2k, 2k and 2k. Cheapskates  |
