After a weekend of playing this I’m so glad I dug out the PS4. Got everything I enjoy in a driving game. And plenty to collect. Toughest task so far? Menu book no idea what number. Porsche Cup at Nurburgring Nordschliefe where the rain starts to fall part way round. Ended up having to start the race on wets to beat the challenge.

Im only done with National A and menu book wise i think i have to do the European Championship now. Only came across rain once during the BMW menu book, was as slippery as a TV evangelist as i recall.
Was thinking of doing a few race grinds for coins when i fire up the game later today.

39 Menu books apparently and I'm getting close. Managed to snaffle a pile of gold bars today - 500,000 credits. Stoked doesn't do it justice!

hehe, resorting to this now  There will be better payout races but this one can be run with one of the early car unlocks without having to spend too much coins to get it up to 550 ish. Quick race, not too difficult getting clean race bonus. If AI has too fast straight line drivers, exit, race again until they not too fast on the straights and then simply hit retry again and again without exiting the race. 52K for clean race. Gets boring quick for sure, but when cash is needed.... |

hehe, resorting to this now There will be better payout races but this one can be run with one of the early car unlocks without having to spend too much coins to get it up to 550 ish. Quick race, not too difficult getting clean race bonus. If AI has too fast straight line drivers, exit, race again until they not too fast on the straights and then simply hit retry again and again without exiting the race. 52K for clean race. Gets boring quick for sure, but when cash is needed.... Nice to know that not the only who has the hazard flashers when they cross the finish line, it kinda bugs me. Saw a first yesterday, when one of ai spun out going up the mountain on Bathurst, normally they spin out when they close the door on someone who shall remain nameless. Quite often it's me that gets it a touch wrong from the top of the mountain down to the Conrod straight, those walls have magnets in them . Have on good authority that there's 39 menus at the moment, but more should be added with the download that are coming along with more cars & tracks. GT Planet GT 7 for reference. |

Made 2 large car buys so far, a Porsche GT3 RS and the DTM Alfa Romeo 155 Up to menu book 20 something now, 28 maybe?, not sure. Received my fair share of raffle tickets. Every single time but twice i got the smallest amount of coins. On the other two occasions i got the second smallest amount of coins. Just born and bred unlucky or developers under the impression i might buy some coins? Got a 100k ticket today. On top of my car yesterday. The Sun Shines on the Righteous..... Jammy f*cker. |
