-8 -5 -12 -6 T: -31
Probably my best TST tourny ever. I played great, was smart and sharp. I told Titots after last week that these greens were too flat, can't read that and I need tougher greens with yellow putting. I was so right! Bring Black Salt Valley! 😄

I’m an idiot!!! Was -37 through 71 holes and leading on the PS4 leaderboard by one with a par 5 to go. I know it’s early days and won’t matter in the end but really wanted to hang on to the lead. Drive in the semi-rough… so one should just play safe and make sure of the bird. NO…. Driver from the semi straight in the 💦…. Pitch to 5 meters and… miss the putt. Bogey!!!
Yes, I AM an idiot!
-36 total

I think I got to -32 after starting with a -3. I struggled with putting in Rd 1 and 2. I read in this thread about putting tips and that helped me somewhat. I missed lots of putts in Rd 3 and 4 and still scored very well. I believe many of the pin placements were contrived. Numerous times I had more break in feet than actual distance to the hole. I appreciate it's the same for everyone and it's disheartening hitting a solid shot to 3-4 feet then missing that putt by miles. I don't think I 3 putted though. Longest putt made in the tourney for me was 11.5ft.

Yes, I AM an idiot! -36 total I missed the green and chipped in for eagle. No putting woes for me on that hole. The design of the course was great. Pinched fairways on the par 5s from 290-330. Carefully placed water in certain locations made what looks like a short par 5 into a tough birdie hole.

Off to a flyer this week holing out for eagle on the 1st on my way to a -15 round 1. Wasn't as sharp with my approaches in round 2 and left myself with much more difficult putts than I'd faced previously. No major mistakes though and I finished -9 for the round and -24 at the halfway mark. Should be happy with that but do feel like I let that good start go a little.

Righty then firstly looking at Leaderboard, to me, it looks better already, currently E is cutting the mustard, ok that could change but its certainly not going to be double figures and to me thats better. After last weeks, wrong suit debacle my tailor made sure this weeks fitted correctly Made some ludicrously stupid putts but also missed a ludicrous amount of tiddly putts , same old nonsense, beginning to wonder if i should just copy and paste the previous weeks post with updated scores Rd1:-10 Pars, 5 Birds, 1 Eagle, 2 Bogeys = 67 (-5) Rd2:-11 Pars, 5 Birds, 1 Eagle, 1 Bogey = 66 (-6) Rd3:-12 Pars, 6 Birds, Bogey Free = 66 (-6) Rd4:-10 Pars, 7 Birds, 1 Bogey = 66 (-6) (bogey was on the par 5 18th aswell ) Event:-43 Pars, 23 Birds, 2 Eagles, 4 Bogey's = 265 (-23) Good Luck all, play well

fransslabak Does the new cut of 80+ties go into effect this week? That IS the plan … confirmation on whether we managed to get it incorporated will follow as soon as we know. EDIT: confirmed now - 80 + ties as of this week Yay! Chances look a little bit better now. Will go ahead and crank out 3 & 4. Onward!

What was the previous cut line? Was it 65+ ties? You are correct James! Only 3 shots off the cut line now!! Any plans to make it top 100 perhaps?

fransslabak Does the new cut of 80+ties go into effect this week? I think we (meaning Team Vandelay) might need that desperately. They don't call this the Yo Yo for nothing: round 1 was -3 through 7, finished +1. Poor decisions/execution, all me. Round 2 was a nice rebound of -7 but there was still some yo yo holes on my card. Waiting patiently for the cut. Onward! Pedestrian -4 and even to finish -10, but not without a few more yo yos. Onward!

With the change in cut line- looks like I'll make it this week with a -7
Finished up R3 and 4 with -5, -3 to put me at -15 for the final.. Middling at best, but I'll take it - first cut of the year..
Good luck to all!
