Took my first crack at this format (in CC-I right now), and it was...surprisingly fun. Went 77-76, so missed the cut by a bunch. I took 68 putts between the two rounds, but some of that was due to poor approach shots.
Really liked the course, and going in with zero expectations made it enjoyable. Looking forward to trying again next week.

-5, -6 for -11 through 2. No yo-yos yet, about as steady as I can get and scoring chances not a plenty. Basically took any realistic chance I got and used it, helped that I landed a few shots to less than 4 feet for an easy score. Think I made the most of my scoring with those, surprisingly. Missed tons of putts by not much, considering some of those breaks, lucky to have not 3 putted because I was so sure I was going to do it at least once at some point. Although, to balance it out, had to give myself one scare on hole 1 of round 2 when I was looking at a round the world spinner, after having putted from 4 feet. Thankfully, didn't miss from there or they would have laughed me out of the course!

Seemed to replicate your game Tomi, tons of huge sidehill putts missed that were so close but also holed quite a few. First TST tournament in over a year since this game was released so not even sure if I still have a tour card. 68 and 66 for -10 at the cut which hopefully should be enough.

Out of interest what were the average numbers for TST last year? Looks like current numbers are steadily growing. Is this the case?
Assuming this is why the cut line has been increased which is great!

I believe many of the pin placements were contrived. Numerous times I had more break in feet than actual distance to the hole. I appreciate it's the same for everyone and it's disheartening hitting a solid shot to 3-4 feet then missing that putt by miles. Hello. I'm with Mark on that matter. I think we had three rounds with green speeds below 163 (to prevent the greens from getting out of control) and one "slippery" round at 163. This is what makes it difficult for me to enjoy TST at the moment. But then again, Mark is correct in that it's the same for everyone, and it is clear that Frans fransslabak can't please everybody. All in all, I am happy that TST attracts more and more players, so keep up the good work, dear TST admins! I will possibly just stop by a little less often, but that is far from being an issue. Cheers and good luck all!

-16 through two for me.
Could someone possibly do me a favour and see if my score is showing on the site? Craig Henderson -16 Xbox. When I look I can't see a position beside my name. I've had some personal stuff come up lately and may have left a tournament unfinished, but just wondering if something's up with my Gamertag or something.

fransslabak Does the new cut of 80+ties go into effect this week? I think we (meaning Team Vandelay) might need that desperately. They don't call this the Yo Yo for nothing: round 1 was -3 through 7, finished +1. Poor decisions/execution, all me. Round 2 was a nice rebound of -7 but there was still some yo yo holes on my card. Waiting patiently for the cut. Onward! Pedestrian -4 and even to finish -10, but not without a few more yo yos. Onward! Gutted by missing the cut!

-20 at the turn, -38 overall I think... Made some really stupid errors, but enjoyed knocking it about. Decent track.

-7, -2 for the weekend rounds. There's the yo-yo! Think I did good on round 3. Not particularly good putting, finally had a 3 putt slide in. Kinda expected when you're on a slope with a foot of downhill and not sure where it really starts to kick in. Round 4 was then plagued by plenty of problems. Tempo was a yo-yo at points. Putts were kinda good when I got a read on them. Some pins were deadly, I'm not sure how steep of a slope some of these sidewinders that I got had, but my goodness did some of those go way beyond my own skill level and comprehension. Think I scored a 3 putt here too, but definitely had a 4 on there. -20 final. Think I played okay tee to green this week, the greens were a little bit too much for my skill but survived reasonably well I reckon. Not sure where I'll end up this week, but if I've made 3 cuts out of 4 so far and keeping steady pretty much every week, I'm happy with that. Oh, looked at the putting stats just because I wanted to see how bad it could get, and... yeah. 10.81% long ones (10+ feet), or 4/37. That sounds about right! Bring on a new week. Cheers and good luck!
