-27 at the halfway. Then had a few mental moments that proved costly in the last 2 rds. -9 and -7 for -43 total. Slightly disappointing after the hot start but at least my mistakes weren’t on the greens.

This is my first event on the TST after being involved in the CC leagues for the past two seasons. Even though I shot 75-72 I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not only the harder swing difficulty but all of the other aspects are just more enjoyable. And when you sink that birdie putt you thoroughly deserve it.
Hoping some improvement comes but even if it doesn't, I am loving this. Especially given I follow the IRL USPGA schedule closely, so pretty cool playing the same courses each week as the pros (This week the exception obvi)

Haven’t played the game in 12 days but when I saw Gavlaar had teed it up, I had to try and beat the smeghead.
Great seeing different names at the top of the leaderboard. Patstrife21 is killing it with a -11. Can we play handicaps every week?
Seeing as I play all my rounds master swing no assists it meant I had a ‘crap’ handicap of +3.6 going in so I only played off +1 here. Meant the only difference was the 16th was a ‘par-4’ instead of a par-5. Finished -5 to handicap and -6 to scratch. Not bad considering my putting was Stone Cold Steve Austin.

First of all, don't pay attention to the in-game leaderboard. Because of the handicapped scoring, no score there will be truly exact. I actually played my first two -25 total so yeah, it felt good... But obviously, I kinda knew it wouldn't continue. Struggled to get it close on the last 2 rounds. -5 and -8 get me to a -38 finish, which will be far off the pace but I am pleased that I actually play better on True Sim than on Plat. But really, can't we get handicapped scores every week? Lol |

I was actually double handicapped in round two as the brandy was flowing…!
Plus, my first round turned my handicap to +5.5 so I was playing off +2! God dammit!
However, I hit -3 to handicap with that new handicap, even with bonkers putting (three putt the 17th hardest hole which gave me a new found double bogey). The -8 thru two puts me at -8 and 2nd place in the handicap stakes so I’m buzzing!! Can we play handicap every week?
In actuality, I’ve shot a -5 to take me to -11 and probably scraping a cut with this bollox pro swing.

I have reasons to believe I was triple handicapped in the third round!
Not only were the brandy measures now badly measured triples, I was now playing off +6.6 (still +2 course hcp!!
However, I also needed a number 1 on the first tee and I decided to chance it to make things a lil more interesting. Things got warmer despite my bad play but a -1 handicap round of 69 leaves me leading the PS4 standings with Trowelhead sitting pretty (hmm?) in second.
Who gives a toss about the real leaderboard?

A bit of a Damon Albarn fourth round and I wasn’t feeling heavy metal. However, wahoooo, i eagled the last to finish -11 for the handicap tournament and 13 shots clear of Trowelhead in second place because, let’s face it, he’s shhhhhhhhhugar!
The actual tournament (in case somebody gave a crap) I drunkenly shot…
66/67/69/67 (-19).

Currently playing again with master swing. Firm/fast medium wind changing direction each round.
73 (with an 11 on a par 5!!) and 68 to start.

So i have a question…..in round 1 on Hole 2 a par 3 I hit the green with the tee shot. I looked at my 2nd shot and it said Par instead of birdie. I missed the shot and the 3rd shot said bogie. I put it in on the 3rf shot and it then said double bogie. 3 shots on a par 3 is a double bogie?
I then had another issue on Hole 8….it was the drivable Par 4…I hit the green on the drive…..on my 2nd shot it said Birdie…..on my 3rd shot i make it in with a birdie and it says Par on 3 shots.
So that is now 3 shots I lost because of a glitch. Do I withdraw? I have never had this issue before….I’ll continue to play to see now many shots that they rip me off….
I went back to my replay to verify it and both holes were wrong with my scoring….
Ok, this is getting ridiculous now……Now I am on Hole 9 a par 5…….I get to the green in 2 with 17 ft left for an eagle….. But my 3rd shot says birdie….I am not going to take the shot…..I’ll pause the round and somehow report this to someone to fix this issue…..

OK, so it has finally happened, my 1ST ever TST missed cut....EVER and to be honest, I was genuinely expecting it, what with Lag issues, plus Turn-Based shenanigans it was always on the cards  Plus I played 55H's then got a network error and a blue screen within seconds of each other, and when I tried loading event I received " Error-HB-RS [1706] and I received that Mon-Tue also, it has gone today though (Wed), initially i thought I may have to take a DNF, if I made cut, but I guess thats defo irrelevant  Here is a vid of One Hole that I experienced issues on, note I never hit TWO of these putts Anyway i'm off to try on a new suit, because I don't like this one  Good Luck All Play Well  |
