Well not sure what to say about this one, +13 and Even for the 2 rounds!! Round 1 made every error in the book and added a few chapters, Round 2 should have broke par but muffed my opportunities. Think in game I'm about +100!!  Bring on next week!!! |

Rnd 1 = -4 (68). So happy! And I left 2 or 3 putts out there.  Slow and steady improvement. TST is such an enjoyable format to play. Now have I jinxed myself? Let's see what Rnd 2 presents... |

Rnd 2 = -5 (67). x2 round total = -9 (155). Maybe not enough to progress past the cut line but improvement has been made. Starting to get a good read on the putts now. Loving TST... hope the love lasts! EDIT... I clearly cannot add up.. total score 135! |

Also starting to feel like I'm making progress in this format. Career best finish last week despite playing poorly in R4. And a -13 round to kick off this week with another TST personal best. Putting is much easier when you can hit it close though, so not sure that kinda form is gonna hold all week. lol

Completely agree with "putting is much easier when you can hit it close". TST just feels more like the real game... and by definition alone I guess it should! From the tee get the ball in play and on more strategic holes placement is likely important. The approach shot is the most important shot in TST and a lot like in real life. Get it close and you significantly improve your chances of making a birdie or better. In theory the shorter the putt the easier the putt. Stats also look quite realistic from x1 round 78% fairways 72% GIR 29 putts longest putt 6.5ft |

After looking like a shot really bad, then reading that handicap scoring was turned on the befuddle the math challenged, I am relieved to see I am -13 after two rounds.
Cut worthy? Who knows with the new maths!?!?
Patiently waiting.

Played well in the first two rounds. -8 and -12. Had a lot of short putts in round 2 and no bogeys in either round.

Had a -9 in Rd1 and a bit frustrated with the handicap scoring and bloody tree shadows on the green. Anyway, concentrated on my game in Rd2 and was surprised when I checked my scorecard at the end I ended up -14 to be -23 at the cut.
Finished -9 and -10 in firmer conditions. Missed a heap of 8-10 footers in Rd4.
-42 overall and pretty chuffed as my practice round on masters setting on Saturday was pretty rubbish.

-8 -7 for -15 at the cut .... Kind of liked the hcp glitch as it meant I had no idea who was leading meaning I wasn't chasing a score just posting one

I actually think it helped me a little in terms of simply concentrating on each shot without the worry of the score. |

I wanna play every week with handicapped scoring.
-12 and -13 for -25 at the midway part. 97% GIR and under 20 feet of hole proximity means that I have made sure to limit my main weakness in TST, which is putting, to a minimum.
