Ya know...you can drop the aim marker altogether for an even cleaner screen. After all, the aim marker is in line with the wind indicator. So in a sense you cut down your aim markers to one. Just sayin'. I can't qoute myself because the thread has been locked, but: yes! tgctours.proboards.com/post/681148/thread+1 for no aim marker at all! Just a friendly reminder that I can place a marker on my monitor screen by just pushing on one button... this is easily avoidable

Are we saying this is a fair test using one of the flattest courses we've had on tour? Perhaps we should test on Harrier Creek where there are lots of elevation changes and barely any flat lies. See my reply in The Brew Crew Ken. Not the best test course. But as I say personally I'm good to go. You need to find a way to reel in the Pro Tours a little and I see no reason why we in CC shouldn't use the same settings so that if players get promoted to the Pro Tours it's not a big culture shock, just trickier courses. What society is the Brew Crew?

Beer League testing
Did not enjoy the occasional blue line that popped up from time to time. I assume it must serve a purpose but I have not read the manual on the game yet. And just a reminder that nothing in life is free - pro-am swing, yay, no stress, happy days, let's have a bit of fun aaaaand lasted till tee shot on 3rd before i picked up my 1st red slow. Scored 6 or 7 more of those over the rest of the 2 rounds - i guess the tempo game just not clicking with me.
Challenge Circuit testing
Enjoyed the suggested settings, won't mind lie grid and wind speed off too
On a separate note - is it possible setting up to not see any distance and elevation to hole at all specifically when putting or on the green? But still have the marker at the default position? With the current settings not having distance and elevation slam bam can't miss seeing it in the middle of the screen i putted almost all of the putts without looking at the hud and i enjoyed it quite a bit!

Must admit I am thinking about ditching the shot feedback icon. Does look rather unsightly. The clearer screen is certainly a plus. If only you could get rid of your mouse pointer when you play. Oh, you can, use a controller If only you could get rid of vibrations that help you putt. Oh, you can, use a mouse In my opinion, vibration feedback should be disabled for all Tours. Let's bring some true feel into shot attempts.

If there's one thing we ALL can agree on, HB/2K did not disappoint regarding SETTINGS for this game

Mayor of CC-C here. On PC and mouser for lyfe. Played round 1 of Bungalow Beach. -7. Have use most of these settings for most of last season except for marker only. I like marker only now, almost ready to ditch the marker completely for a cleaner screen (ditched shot feedback a long time ago, well have distance only as I do relish the numerical feedback on drives, don't care about slow or fast as I feel that anyway). Here is my screen on the first tee in round 2: Pretty clean, and that shot feedback thingy is only there because I have to ctr+shift+c to take the screenie. Otherwise it is not there when I play. In summary I approve of these settings. Onward. Get rid of that pin marker and you're talking

Never used it and realy dont understand those who complain about easy settings and has a frkn buzzer that tells when to trigger….gdam chicken other than that i am good with the settings

Turn the marker off completely. Makes putting fun without the benefit of the aim point. The one single negative point for no marker is that you can't see behind the hole on the reverse putting camera for extreme downhill putts. You have to change to another club and use green and approach camera but it is a good compromise. No marker for putting is superb, unfortunately you can't choose to use it regardless if the setting is set to marker only. Annoying as this wasn't a problem in TGC 2019, so if I play TST I am stuck with a big ugly marker bang in the centre of my screen.

Just a friendly reminder that I can place a marker on my monitor screen by just pushing on one button... this is easily avoidable Yes but who does this anyway? 🥳 Think I would tbh! 😂 Seriously, this is tough for the time you realise a couple of things and it's just annoying in the process. Take the 7y chip from the fringe. I know they will stupidly put that marker for a 3y shot while I probably want it to be just before 6y. So I gotta push it back to the max distance and either count click backward or just go approx and take a practice swing to see if I'm around 88% like I want. Think I would prefer to watch those clouds and guess where and how this wind is! 🤣

Doyley I think these settings (CC Test event) are great as well. You don't really need to be told how much up or down a shot is, IMHO, as the game holds your hand and helps you enough as it is. Besides, the aim marker is still there and if you putt according to the aim marker you will still hole most putts and the misses won't be huge anyway. It's still more important to read the breaks right, and the aim marker won't help you with that. I still one or two putted all 36 greens with relative ease, I just had to think a bit more. Also with less info available it finally brings the long miss into play. I think these settings would work great for CC as they still allow us to think our way through the round a bit whilst still making the clubs easier to hit. I think I shot -9 and -5 (CC-I). Would love to have the wind meter set to direction only as well. Don't make it too easy, have us think a little.

So with what I have read, I have a question. When your putting do you have a little marker so that way you know where you are aiming. If not im probably not even going to play because that is so stupid. How would you even know where you are aiming? How will you know how many inches are downhill/uphill when it tells you its 1ft or more? You wont be able to tell if its 12 inches or 16 etc. Also there is a bug in the game that if it says 1ft up or downhill ive taken my marker and gone to the hole with it and it actually is only 9 inches up or downhill. So how are you supposed to know how much to play. Please someone tell me the answers to these. Thank You.
