Platinum has Fruitland for a test now…. Fruitland with VHW will always be a challenge! Should be interesting for the Plat players.

Played Fruitland Farms. I'm just happy it was pro difficulty. Lol. +4 -3.

I remember when you put that course on the Platinum society when you were trying the Legend tempo earlier this offseason. Shot a -4 in R1 that felt so great.
Gonna be interesting to compare how I score on that course on those settings compared to on Master.

Just played the 2nd round at Bungalow Beach and have zero problems with those settings.
I would be happy as well to see lie grid removed but the caveat on that is courses with heavy shadows like those set at dawn or dusk it is often impossible to see if you have a sloped lie or not unless you have the lie grid so it is a real catch 22 for mine.

I still feel the same about no lie grid and aim marker info and I appreciate it's being attempted - anything that makes up some of a lot of difficulty lost in going to the pro swing. For those that have issues with no lie grid, just click the right thumbstick until the camera is low enough to judge your feet compared to the ball - but most of the time, your eye will learn it without needing to.
Give yourself time to learn - it may take a couple of tournaments to get used to it but positive results feel more earned when you're not good at something at first and then gradually see your improvement stemming from practice and playing.

I’ve just played the Bungalow beach club CC society event -7 & -6 and would be happy with the settings.
In reality as a below average Xbox CC-E player I’m just happy that I can join in again after dropping out following a period of frustration with the tempo. Whether I’m competitive or not I will soon find out, but at least I can shoot a respectable round and participate.
In the earlier events, I was happy to do without the lie grid, I managed without the scout cam but that setting is back on so no issue. The distance in hud only took a bit of getting used to as I usually don’t aim for 100% to protect against overswing. It wasn’t a big deal in the end. Putting actually improved as I am more of a feel putter.
I tried the first round at fruitland +10 which proves I think the difficulty ranges and scoring can certainly be managed in part by the schedulers by choosing longer, windier, faster conditions on courses with tucked in pins and difficult greens etc I suppose this can ramp up the difficulty a fair bit for average CC players like myself. Mind you I made a right mess of chipping etc.
All in all happy with the settings, but I think at this stage I’d be happy to go with most decisions on pro.
Thanks to all the hard work behind the scenes setting up the new season especially as the changes won’t appeal to everyone’s preferences.

Bungalow Beach with these settings gives me something to work with as mid level CC-J player. Surviving at Master without knowing what will happen hitting over or next to a body of water is fun (?), but these settings allows me to think about best ways to play the course.

As far as I'm concerned, I still think that this setting is the best for pro club use (Test on Platinum)
