CC player here. Finished the CC test with -9, -7. Really liked the extra challenge even though I 3 putted 4 times (all on par fives I had hit in 2). Had trouble with the distance on putts over 30 feet but am certain I will improve in that area the more I play. Please consider using these settings for all tours. Will give the Platinum test a go in a bit.

So with what I have read, I have a question. When your putting do you have a little marker so that way you know where you are aiming. If not im probably not even going to play because that is so stupid. How would you even know where you are aiming? How will you know how many inches are downhill/uphill when it tells you its 1ft or more? You wont be able to tell if its 12 inches or 16 etc. Also there is a bug in the game that if it says 1ft up or downhill ive taken my marker and gone to the hole with it and it actually is only 9 inches up or downhill. So how are you supposed to know how much to play. Please someone tell me the answers to these. Thank You. Yes you do. Of course there's an aim marker. It will even give you the recommended speed as it did before. You don't need to know the rest of the info as there are green grids there to help you.

Built around the Beer League last season. See us here tgctours.proboards.com/thread/25645/brew-crew We use TGCT scores in a league format and will naturally be moving across to the TGCT main tours with the implementation of Pro swing. I’m mid CC player….is it open to all or just certain number of players? Limited to 32 players at the moment because of the structure. Any recruitment will be done in CC. Kevin up mup kupen nup runs something similar (Happy Tee Friends) covering the Pro Tours.

Yes but who does this anyway? 🥳 Think I would tbh! 😂 Seriously, this is tough for the time you realise a couple of things and it's just annoying in the process. Take the 7y chip from the fringe. I know they will stupidly put that marker for a 3y shot while I probably want it to be just before 6y. So I gotta push it back to the max distance and either count click backward or just go approx and take a practice swing to see if I'm around 88% like I want. Think I would prefer to watch those clouds and guess where and how this wind is! 🤣 88 percent why so precise, you are only slowing down your backswing slightly. I actually wish we could lock backswing to 80% for partial chip, pitch, splash as it is a nice speed. The 60% speed is just so slow and off putting, the auto intent in the game is really annoying.

Believe me the best putters over at TST putt by feel. You don't need precise measurements for putts when you putt by feel. Practise putt info, marker elevation precise inches info. It is not needed and this debate come up a long time ago before TST switched to marker only. The game plays well marker only and even better no marker and the putting in the game plays well by using feel for distance. If you're one of the people that needs practice putts to find your putting distance maybe these precise measurements are needed which is fine but the game is fun when you learn your putt distances.

Cause I know my distance! 😛 Perfect chip with the way I shaped it is usually 88 for 7y, 79 for 6y and 70 for 5. And while I could just ignore the marker and shoot it, this game dosent work like that. If my marker is set at 65 and shoot for 88, I'm in the red and my perfect zone is smaller

Like I said I personally feel I play better no marker. I do think marker only would be better here than marker as with grids is sweeping the green for elevation info really needed when you have a grid anyway.

Going by feeling or maths won't change the fact that I won't shoot into red spot volountary. I'll place that invisible marker where it needs to be. I'm playing a round without it right now lol! I think it would be way tougher in TST mode. That scout cam is telling me easily where is the marker. You just need to go on top completly and zoom on the ground And here it is just for you, the 6y chip at around 79%! 😆

I have been playing this game since tgc 2. I also do not use putt previews (I dont even have that achievement unlocked because I dont use them lol) so I do know what the feel of distances are for putting. I was referring to being able to know how long a putt is. Like I said before there is a bug in the game. I wont explain it again just read what I said before. Whether the game plays better one way or another is your opinion, just like my opinion is I dont want to play something that feels like true sim.

Ok thank you for letting me know. Putts of 1FT+/- elevation just switch to Metric and divide the Cm by 2.54. Each grid box is approximately 3F, so it's not difficult to nail your distances when moving the Marker for putts, splashes, pitches, etc. So in reality, the new settings Do Not make the game more difficult. More time consuming for some? Yep, that's about it.

Not sure if someone wanted it off if they would be able to turn it off
