I've run into that issue before Les and wound up just closing out the flight and starting somewhere else. I've had it where it tells me to shut off, but they are already off. Go to start back up and nothing happens. Just kind of stuck there. Guess you can try looking at the checklist and see if there is anything no checked/completed and try and do it yourself. If you have in your assists options for the ai to do checklists then you should be able to look at that page and click "complete checklist". A little help if you do see an item without a check mark next to it, the easy way to get to it is to click the little eye icon next to the item. It will take you right there. Threw in a screenshot to help. Really think its a bug but. I'll google around in the morning while doing my morning wake up/perusing forums routine.  I don't think thats the problem just think it gets kind of stuck. Unless it does it all the time. LoftyandoRe mods above. Steam does't do mods like other games. For this game you get them via 3'rd party sites which are reputable. You just download then extract the mod to your community folder. Very easy. I use this place daily. So. I just found a couple things.
One guy on another forum says to make sure AUX Power is off if you. Get stuck like this. So open your checklist and look for AUX Power.Click that little eye symbol and it will take you to it.
And another thing I read was. Land, park. Go up top and turn on ai pilot and he will shut down the engines.
Maybe one of these will help or not.

I’ve watched a couple of videos on the Aermacchi MB-339A and found a flight manual that tells you what all the controls are, it’s pretty easy to fly and land actually. I’m looking forward to doing some low level stuff up some of the valleys in Scotland and the Lake District.

Mods Les, mods is where it is. Like the apps we have that work with the iPAD, 3rd party free add on's etc though apparently the new series S/X has simconnect but I've no idea how it works on XB. Ben, where do you download mods for this game? Is it through the steam workshop for the game or a 3rd party website? I've been thinking about purchasing MSFS on steam and if I'm able to install mods through steam that will make my mind up to purchase it. I have so many mods on other sim games that I play.
I currently own the free version of this game through Xbox game pass for PC. Sorry Leon I missed this, bit too tied up in the golf. Mods are from 3rd party sites and are installed in the Community folder. No advantage buying it as far as I can see. Good place to start for mods flightsim.to/ |

Where’s the checklist thingy I’ve never used it It's in the top bar that you can click to bring down the weather settings, ai settings etc. Its the one that looks like a check mark. I really (as a rookie at this game who knows nothing about it lol) don't think this is the issue but only bring it up to check to rule it out. After reading what I found yesterday I do kind of wonder if it is something like that AUX Power switch gets glitched. In your assistance settings you get to from the main menu make sure you have in the "piloting" section if I remember right, that you have it set to have the ai do the checklists. You can still do them yourself or look at them if you want. In the end it's probably no big deal but if you are doing a bush trip or something not being able to shut down and end properly may not log your completion. Don't know about that though as I've never been able to finish one leg of bush trip without getting bored and going to fly somewhere else. |

Sends you back to the start. Couldn't face doing the same leg of the journey again so retired from bush trips. What I'd really like to do is give this Neofly a proper go. Just struggling to get a decent gaming window to sit down and work it all out. Bloody work! |
