Anyone else who plays on PC with a mouse having big issues with the updates? Last night I had a late night session with my buddy who I've been playing weekly with for at least a couple of years. He's the one who got me to buy TGC19. He's probably logged well over 400 hours on master settings in the two games and we've always had fun, competitive games. I play with an XBox controller on PC and have adjusted reasonably well to all of the changes. But he's really struggling and it's painful to watch. He's duffing drives 160 yards left and right. He's hitting way too many red slows. He's tried recalibrating but it's not helping.
I'm wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and if there's anything they can recommend. He doesn't want to switch to a controller, but perhaps he'd be open to a new mouse.

I posted this video a few days ago. Can't hurt right?

I posted this video a few days ago. Can't hurt right? Awesome videos. I had no idea that different adapters might affect the calibration points in the game. I plugged my XBox controller into my USB-C docking station and the game seems ten times easier. lol

Though I don't play here I am curious about how difficult people are finding master swing. Tbh there are some really low scores all the way down the flights winning tournaments. Very little difference in scoring. Perhaps -2 shots worse over 4 rounds?
Pre updates I exclusively used a wireless calibration with Purple Bridgestone's. When using the least forgiving irons in the game, when going for perfects or RF/RS, you want to avoid rounding like the plague. If I use this set-up post update I'm still scoring almost the same.
Now, I'm predominately using a wired, 3 points in the perfect. For comparison purposes that gets you around 33% increase in rounding, or the same as a 3 point wireless. 4 point wireless receive around 25% in rounding and 5 point wireless receive a 20% increase. This set-up gives me a very slight advantage in rounding than my post patch set-up, however my scores are very similar.

Seems like it uses different polling rate via the USB-C docking station compared to however you had it plugged in previously? What is it about it that is making it easier? More polling points? Less polling points? I'm very curious.

Some other poor guy, using the same exact adapter, might happen to be using a different serial #'d controller, with a different head set and get the exact opposite results! Just like some people, literally can not use wireless!! Some guys on wireless actually get random, all over the place, makes no sense at all input points. They might be forced to play wired, or vice versa! It really is a lottery man. The game is broken.

Less polling points? I'm very curious. Previously I was plugged directly into the laptop. It seems like fewer polling points when plugged into the adapter. With my long irons, it seems more difficult to push it into the red zones, although I'm still able to get there if I try hard enough. Since the very recent batch of server-side changes I've been hitting way more red slows. I'm going to do some experimentation, going back and forth between ports.

Experiment with multiple controllers and with the headset plugged in or out too. Different USB cables can potentially affect input points too.

I haven't noticed headsets affecting the XB controller on the XB (I have 4 of them that I've tested it with, 1 of which is the old XB controller and the other 3 are new Series X controllers). But maybe on PC!

I would love to find a secret bullet to fix it.

The game is flat out unplayable for me now, it's unfortunate and I don't owe anybody an explanation.

You're not alone....I tried playing league last week for the 1st time since the change and I quit after 9 holes. I turned swing timing off now for good and just play career mode and some of the newest courses that come out.

I've tried and tried, recalibrated, tried different USB ports, everything. Sometimes I get a couple perfects and then wham, very fast, very slow, gray slow, red fast. No consistency and no way to score under par without a few miracles each round. Even that ain't close to good enough!

The update has definitely changed the game, TGCTours should keep pushing for further improvements to the game.
Who knows HB may sell 3 million copies next time round.
