I don't think the lower polling rate is the root cause. Even at 125Hz as long as you aren't pounding the stick forward you should be able to calculate stick velocity reasonably well. There is something else going on here.

There is something else going on here. The adapter I purchased to use a PS4 DS4 controller on an XB came yesterday. Limited testing so far as I was pretty busy with work, but so far I would agree that this seems to be the case - there is likely something else going on. So far, both wired and wireless, it seems like my tempo is registering at the same (limited) spots. The only differences I've been able to tell: 1) I must swing A LOT faster on the PS4 controller to get a perfect 2) Given that, it feels like there is a bit more grace on the perfect window on XB using the PS4 DS4 controller. I think it has to do with the fact that with XB controller you have to swing much slower, and then it feels like the grace period around that swing is much narrower, while using the DS4 I need to swing faster, but a wider range of outcomes seems to fall into that perfect window. Again, very limited testing, hopefully be able to put much more time in later this week and try some calibration techniques. Getting close to my end bothering with this game on Master on XB though, regardless.

I can't really play it on PS4 because it screws up my PC tempo.

HB Keith has an Xbox surely he must have an idea. Vsync effects the swing when I turn it on maybe there is some problem there. It is really bad form from HB not to have this game running properly on Xbox.

I can have a go at contacting HBKeith on steam asking if they are working on levelling the playing field across the platforms he’s replied before when I’ve asked stuff.

This is also a Nintendo Switch problem Les. The game borderline unplayable on Master an even on Pro your finishing points a very limited.

Well I’ve messaged him on steam it’s in the lap of the gods if I will get a reply back. I’ve asked if anyone at HB/2K are even aware of the difference in playability across the platforms and if they are is there going to be any attempt at levelling the playing field.

I play Pro difficulty on Xbox and have to points in the white perfect segment that I hit other than that it’s one point either side in the grey then red either side of that, that isn’t granular because they are always in the same place unless I re calibrate. I’m reluctant to do that as two points in perfect is better than none.

Sounds pretty similar to the Switch, I think a different company ported the Switch version but it seem to have the same problems as Xbox. In handheld mode I couldn't even hit a perfect, 90% of my shots were in the same grey fast position. Bad shots in the red seem to follow too with the same few points. I used the pro controller and could manage to hit perfect though but limited finishing points also.

As GameSpot has mentioned that we have 2K22 coming out this year they need to get the new game working properly on Xbox. The series X should run this game the same as a high end PC.

Just a clarification... www.gamespot.com/articles/ea-sports-pga-tour-launches-spring-2022-as-only-game-with-all-four-majors/1100-6491579/The article says that "2K is expected to bring back that franchise with PGA Tour 2K22 this year"...there's no confirmation as of yet that the game will be out this year. For comparison sake, PGA Tour 2K21 was announced on May 14, 2020.

Call me when when they stop making this game worse. I’m done. So they need fast swing, but leave slow alone?
It’s a clown show. Done playing this trash.
