I think if someone on XB1 wants to make noise - this forum thread is not going to do much. My suggestion would be to get a very concise, well put together video showing how you can't hit certain spots on the dial - calmly explaining that the equipment/console you are using is not allowing you to play the game the way HB intends (as evidenced by results on PC where almost any spot on the dial is up for grabs). Then offer up a couple of solutions (ie maybe a different metric on XB1 consoles that accounts for the equipment's polling rates) and then try to calmly and respectfully request change as many times as you see fit with as many friends as you can gather.
They key is a quick and to the point video - without that you won't get far.

Anyone else notice some variation in non-perfect shot outcomes (particularly red fasts) in a variety of situations?
Sometime after the big update, I noticed that they seemed to dial back the penalty for red fast drives, as I was able to hit light-red fast drives in the 90% of perfect range. Now that tweak seems to have been reversed and they only go about 65% distance.
A big thing that also changed recently (this week?) is the penalty for red fast and slow on splash shots. If you just hit red fast (not very fast), you seem to lose something like 60% of the distance.
Is anyone else noticing this stuff? I don't want to get into a dumb debate as to whether the changes make sense or not, but I'm just kind of getting annoyed with what seems to be a moving target from week to week.

I think if you focus on the XB1 swing and swing plane it'll be your best move going forward. If they tweak the XB1 swing metrics the parity with the other systems will follow. Think this is more of a fight for the next game though - this is much bigger than a server side tweak. |

Left my ball in the bunker three times and made triple, and not because I couldn't get over a lip, but because the ball went about four feet. Used LW pitches out of the bunker for the rest of the round. Seems really specific to splashes. May as well just get rid of that shot option if HB is gonna do that. |

I said basically the same thing in a different thread earlier today. I will only use pitch shots out of bunkers now because it takes me 2-3 attempts to get out using splash shots. I could go learn how to correctly hit a splash shot, but for this weeks tournament I will just stick to pitch shots |

Usually ok with bunker splashes . Never do partial but use loft.
This weeks challenge comp has taught me in a very harsh way to leave the loft box alone. Real golf you would not partial it when in bunker and so close to the pin but rather open the face but can't on this game which is a shame.
Not sure if putting has been tweaked as I'm usually ok with distance but certainly not at present. That side could be just me mind as I'm not a good player. Just didn't feel right.

I played my TST R1 and 2 last night - first time I've played at all in a couple of weeks. Maybe it's just me, but I found the pitching and splashing easier. Think I only had a couple of grey fasts in two rounds and no red :/
Have they made it easier to hit Perfect tempo on those shots while simultaneously making RF/RS more penal?

I don't know if PC players get the advantages of the PS players. I play PC and these last two updates to the swing mechanic have destroyed the game for me. A PC player won the Plat Tourney this week. |

What advantages are PS players supposed to have?
If it’s just vs XB - it’s a non point at this stage. Is there any actual evidence to prove that PS have some advantages over PC in 2k21? PC is such a wide range of specs and setups it’d be difficult to really prove anything with one single rule I’d imagine.
