The whole point of TGC Tours for this season is that EVERYONE plays on the same difficulty level (so everyone sorts into the correct tour for their skill level) - so we don't have all the complaints from previous years when pro clubs beat master (or whatever they were called - I've forgotten!) So I can't see any way that Doyley and co will change any tiers - either to Legend or Pro (and rightly so) If people (on any platform) don't like the difficulty level - then either drop to Beer League (if it is proving too difficult / unenjoyable for you) or set up your own Legend society and play that.
Stop expecting TGCTours to change to cater for your individual demands.........

I don’t know why people wanted to continue to sleepwalk their way through this game with red fasts. Or complained when it was nerfed. I was punished to a degree as I used the red fasts drives but I still love playing this game and have adapted. If you want to argue about the communication then I fully understand. But to be mad because you can’t spleepwalk anymore is something I don’t get. Distance on very fasts & slows are still too repeatable.......it’s a very basic update when you break it down. Great job though.....👍🏼 |

I agree to an extent Rob, and certainly there is no blame to be laid for any of this at the feet of the TGCT admin. But you've got to understand the frustration that we're feeling on Xbox. We don't want to play Pro, we want to be able to compete with the rest of you on the same (difficult) settings. I've said it before that I'm fully in agreement with the ideas behind these changes. But the sad fact is, right now it's a completely different game on our console and these changes do seem to have widened the chasm rather than close it, even on the Series X (although it is better than the original XB). I'm optimistic that we'll have further changes coming as they clearly haven't abandoned this game like they have done previously. sh%$ needs fixing! And in the meantime, I for one am not ready to throw in the towel. This place has been a huge part of my free time for too long to just give up on it. |

But the sad fact is, right now it's a completely different game on our console and these changes do seem to have widened the chasm rather than close it, even on the Series X (although it is better than the original XB). I'm optimistic that we'll have further changes coming as they clearly haven't abandoned this game like they have done previously. sh%$ needs fixing! And in the meantime, I for one am not ready to throw in the towel. This place has been a huge part of my free time for too long to just give up on it. When they added the 60Hz mode that improved the game for me on Xbox and I thought some of us Xbox players might even be able to compete especially on the series x. Then the two new updates have arrived and we’re back to square one. |

Yes of course - but when it comes down to it, certain of your number constantly whining on and on and on (which a few are) is not going to change anything - instead they are just pissing everyone (especially including themselves) off.
Is it therefore harsh to tell XB players to effectively 'suck it up' ? Yes maybe - but once again - the complaining is not going to produce anything positive for XB players - so you DO simply have to make the choice that I said originally, whether you like that choice or not.

Well, all we heard for the last 7-8 months was all the perfect swingers crying and complaining about the red fast! Weather they were PS, PC or XB they whined loudly! So maybe they should have just sucked it up? I didn’t make the choice to nerf the red fast all you perfect swingers did that, cry & complain..... it’s unfair and ruining the game! Blasphemy! Oh wait, they changed it well XB players just deal with it or leave. So then NO ONE COMPLAIN anymore because it’s not going to do anything. Well, it seemed to have done enough to nerf the red fast! The powers that be have spoken! XB players just deal or go to Beer League or create your own society (which we have). LOL! |

As a good friend said in another thread, if the shoe were on the other foot and PS4/PC players had to deal with the same things the Xbox console did, the threads would blow up with butthurt. No one is demanding change from TGC Tours Robbie. At the same time though, you blatantly dismissing the legitimate concerns of players in a cross platform setting is disappointing, but hardly surprising. |

Perhaps you should actually READ what I wrote. I have not dismissed your concerns at all - I have specifically stated that you ARE hard done by on XB. However - repeating the same complaint again and again and again is not going to change things....not matter how many times you say it, or attack anyone who remotely disagrees with your specific point of view.

They're not complaints, it's complete frustration. If you're tired of reading it then may I suggest this: Either don't read it or resist the urge to dismiss an entire base of platform players by telling them effectively to suck it up. As I stated, if the shoe was on the other foot and your platform as well as PS4 was effected, the blasphemy would be a hundred times greater. If you can't handle the counter responses, you probably should never have clicked the send button to begin with. |

It’s my understanding that the game was only updated because of the whining TGCTours players so if people want to continue with that to possibly catch HB’s attention this is the place to do it surely. Why can’t they be afforded that freedom of speech???

Why can’t they be afforded that freedom of speech??? This is fair. XBers should be able to moan all they want. These forums are a great place for that. But the Red Fast is far from the same thing. TGCT historically has been able to police exploits like the push/pull and straight shooters through API. Doubtful it was possible with the RF but these forums were worth asking the question. TGCTours could also have come out publicly several months ago stating a position against RF and those who used it. In other words, they had the ability to do something. For the console disparity, what can anyone do other than HB? If there was a magic button on the PS that made the game the same on XB, we all would’ve pushed it a long time ago. |
