This weeks Platinum Player, POLAK (congrats on win!) has just accidentally discovered a new RF Exploit!!!!!! It wasn't me ;D. You lower the intent of any club you are using to the minimum and then you swing to a 101% RF. No one's done any mapping/charting testing on it yet so I don't know if it's a consistent shot. It appears that the lower your intent goes, i.e., 70%-75% provides better results. The 295 Driver at 80% seems to work as long as you don't get an overly strong RF. Looks like HB needs to fix stuff again. HERE WE GO AGAIN lmao

Someone find him and give him a good leathering for even trying. Jesus Christ ... just play the game!!! we were memeing because he realized something about hitting 70% power red slow with 100% intent going almost as far as 100% power. So I said do it the opposite, lower your intent and hit a red fast 101% and it worked.
The thing is. We're not really sure if it's actually an exploit. Sloaner said (and I agree with him after experimenting) that it just shifts the tempo window over the red fast. The tempo you hit at 101% with 60-80% intent is just your perfect tempo but it reads red fast because lower intent shifts your tempo left. It's why when you partial a shot for, let's say 70%, you need to hit it much slower than it feels like your normal tempo, because your tempo gets shifted.
So It might end up not being the exploit we thought it was. Though I personally hit better tempo when I hold down my shot longer (which a lower intent shot forces you to do) so I might actually have better tempo with this mechanic LMAO.

Yeah, like 40 people were in Twitch chat and saw it go down. It began with a 295D, 70%, bugged, Red Slow Avatar partial that had a carry distance around 240y. People wanted to see if the RF side was bugged at 70% too, and Voila. No RF exploit at all. Just a bugged out 70% RS.

I'd argue it's still an exploitation of strange game mechanics, but it has practically no benefits aside from maybe what kara was saying about being able to swing in a slower motion. Perhaps those who struggle with tempo can find consistency by drawing intent back a certain amount and having a slower, more repeatable motion that way, but it gives no inherent advantage or disadvantage that would upset competitive balance in the same way old RF did.

Still depressing that people are constantly looking for exploits...

It could prove to be quite useful for Xbox players (I made post there) who lack the ability to hit enough input points. As already stated - No exploit.

Still depressing that people are constantly looking for exploits... It’s almost like, even today, it’s not clear to some how the developers intended the game to be played, or that there’s unwillingness to accept it at least. Now the folks that tried this likely don’t fall into that category, but you can be sure there’s another clutch of bell ends trying furiously to find a new way to make the whole thing easier, but with some retarded modifications to technique.

I would never put CC in Pro difficulty. Now with both recent updates they should just kick Plat players up to legendary difficulty. The problem with CC at Pro difficulty is when people move to Kinetic. And if people do t like Masters they have the Beer League which still has some very nice courses. It is far from a 2nd rate league. Great players there and nice courses and TGC still keeps track of scores, stats, ect. Says a PS4 player! I don’t care what platform I would use. I wouldn’t put CC in a Pro difficulty. The only issue I see NOW is to make the highest tour more difficult. And I’m not near to argue about PS,XBox or PC. Everybody has their preference and if you don’t like XBox with regards to the TGC tours then just play the societies for competition and the leaderboards. I have nothing to do why XBox plays different than PS or PC with the swing mechanic. And I didn’t get a PS to play TGC. I just happened to find TGC by accident. BTW, who is the highest ranking XBox player on the TGC tour?

I don’t know why people wanted to continue to sleepwalk their way through this game with red fasts. Or complained when it was nerfed.
I was punished to a degree as I used the red fasts drives but I still love playing this game and have adapted.
If you want to argue about the communication then I fully understand. But to be mad because you can’t spleepwalk anymore is something I don’t get.

Still depressing that people are constantly looking for exploits... That is what happens with any video game. Then the hammer comes down and people get mad.

The highest tour has the most varied skill level already from top to bottom, IMO. The top 25, then the top 50, then the cut-line dwellers, then those trying to not get demoted have a separation between each and every one of those distinctions. What are you accomplishing from going up to Legend difficulty?
