EA are back with a new golf game

You will get your money's worth of you like EA Tiburons golf game mechanic in their previous golf games. Personally I think they are the worse swing mechanics I have played in any recent golf game. I would rather play Mario Golf Tbh.
Also the physics are pretty bad for a golf game. The cup mechanics are just awful, the ball rolls through the rough, the ball gets placed on level lies if it is on a slope or near a sleeper for instance, give me HB's cocked wrist rather than moving the ball because it is on a slope any day. I have never seen that crap ever in a golf game before.
It is very rough considering EA probably spent some money on this game. Also it runs poorly on PC and looks very average for it's poor performance.The 3D grass is sh%$ as it disappears after 60 yards then looks like green mulch even on max settings.
I have it on Game Pass but will not reinstall it even though it doesn't cost me any money to do so. EA's Tiger 08 on PC and previous HB games put this to shame.Also you can cross off partial shots as this is a golf game of swing meters so it is absolutely crap for SIM golf if that's your thing.

If you’d enjoy seeing some really nice recreations of famous courses that all play markedly differently you might enjoy playing through the career mode and if that’s worth £15 to take a chance on for you I’d say absolutely.

Its flaws are well known but I had an enjoyable couple of months with it and I think it does some things better than this game albeit alongside things that are very very poor too. It’s on EA play now by the way if you sub, or are subbed to Gamepass Ultimate.

Good thing you don't review games for IGN. Well, good thing for EA Sports.

So a friend of mine got the game so we played around with it a bit. Same feelings as when I played the trial. Game sucks. Too much negative crap to mention.

This was a $70 game at release too.  Ouch.  At least I know for sure now that my money is spent on HB/2K golf games and not EA, even if they release a new golf game in the future.

Just wanted to pour one out for EA Sports PGA Tour.

Season 12 started on Tuesday...and there was no new patch. Just a new Pro Pass that has no end date, so one could easily assume support is now done for the game.

Really seems like the future is once again up in the air for any more EA golf, for better or worse.
