I won't get the EA game, but I am very impressed with those well described patch notes. Professional to say the least. Typical 2K/HB notes We've fixed issues that have been broken and patched previously only to be broken again. Good luck figuring out which ones (complete sarcasm, but you get my drift I hope). One good thing in 2k23. I haven't had a game crash in over a week. |

So 2k gets pretty pictures 20 shots random results and a horrendous putting mechanic? And no course designer? Sign me up. Hopefully they don't mess with 2K's PS3 graphics/ animations and the Sega Genesis sound design team. |

On PC 2K23 is much more popular but the truth is video game golf is very niche compared to other sports video game franchises. Tbh if EA's effort was the only golf video game available I would not be playing golf video games anymore, it's an awful golf game to me as was Rory before. 2K's numbers have dropped a bit but the game is over a year old and it has a course designer so it keeps it fresh with new content available regularly. Just think how successful games like Skyrim have been even after 12 years, the PC community modding keeps people playing. 2K23's community course creators and competitive societes with their communities keep people playing 2K23. It's also a pretty solid golf game that can be quite challenging on it's highest difficulty with all aids off. |

I’ve taken EA Sports Golf off my series x I couldn’t get away with it I found it boring if I’m honest.

If you look at the low numbers on PC and probably not groundbreaking numbers on consoles. EA will drop their golf game. Hopefully the sales of 2K23 are close to 2K21 so we have another HB golf game. HB golf games warts and all have improved with every game imo.
