I just want a decent career mode. Tired of playing against humans that exploit game mechanics to shoot in the 50s. Lol! I'm not into career mode as I've done that over and over in the TW series. I do agree with your second comment. It is what is unfortunately. |

I’d like to know why EA ever got away from Tiger, they made Jack Nicholas games into the 90s, a controversy with his ex wife wouldn’t have prevented fans from buying the games, EA killed themselves once they gave up Tiger

I’d like to know why EA ever got away from Tiger, they made Jack Nicholas games into the 90s, a controversy with his ex wife wouldn’t have prevented fans from buying the games, EA killed themselves once they gave up Tiger EA hung on to Tiger longer than most of his other sponsors...the personal life issues came to light in late 2009, and the last TW game came out in 2013. |

From what I recall he left EA. Plus EA probably figured a younger player like Rory would be better. Rory did sell well in Europe from what I remember. Wasn't Rory's fault the game sucked.
2K has to be nervous with Tiger now. I'm a huge fan but not sure he will ever be able to play again has to be stressful when he's your cover boy.

Yep...Rory actually outsold the last TW game, something like 830,000 copies to 750,000 copies, per vgchartz.com, which surprised the heck out of me. |

My ranking would have had TW 13 at #1 and TW 10 a close #2. If Tiger Woods 14 had Tiger Woods 13's True-Aim camera, it would have been my #1. Unfortunately, it's True-Aim camera was broken and rather than patch it, they just removed it from the options list. I've never been a fan of the follow camera presentation, so this game was totally lost on me. I loved Tiger 10's putting and it still remains my favorite implementation of the putting game to date, including its 180 reverse angle cut options.

This game just plain old sucks! Don’t kid yourself, the mechanics are not fun and are just unrealistic. If it wasn’t for TGC tours I would have deleted it after a month.
HB are a bunch of asswipes who won’t listen to their main base players. Haven’t for 2 years now!
I quit more rounds than I finish. Every new game gets worse.

If Anthony Kyne had his way we would have no difficulty levels or the option to turn off green grids. I am glad he left HB.

Haven’t we always had the option to turn off the green grids? He said that was a mistake and it was impossible to read greens without grids. Also he was alway going on about one difficulty setting which I think isn't realistic in giving people with different skill levels at the game a good challenge . People keep saying how good the TGC1 was, I think it was a very average golf game, without the great course designer I don't think I would of played it. We had tricked up very firm greens to give a challenge as it was just so easy to hit every shot straight, that's not golf to me I do get annoyed that 2K21 has some flaws and bugs haven'tt been fixed but 2K21 is a very good golf game, best I have played since Tiger 08 on PC. I fired up TW 14 again yesterday on my PS3, I don't see the love for that game,I only played it with the PS move when it first came out. The controller diagonal swing just feels awkward , greens are impossible to read with grids off and the putting stroke feels awful. |
