With that, Ajax beats F91 Dudelange up mup kupen nup in a close match that ends in 5 - 3 for the Godenzonen. This means that Ajax are our first finalist of the Pixel Golf Polling Points Cup and they will face either West Ham United rob4590 or Burton Albion LEFTY79 ... we'll find out later today, won't we LEFTY79  ? |

It was another West Ham-Burton Albion classic that was decided in the waning minutes. In the end it was the Brewers that landed the final hammer blow and secured a place in the PGPP Cup Final (pending VAR).   |

Final Burton Albion LEFTY79 - Ajax After not getting punished in the earlier rounds for erratic play, Erik ten Hag demanded a solid performance in the final. And the players got nervous about that; instead of continuing to attack flat out, which is what the Godenzonen are good at, they tried to be careful. Careful doesn’t work for Ajax and resulted in some simply laughable defensive mistakes. Ajax still fired a few shots at goal but whether that’ll be enough to compensate for the defensive errors is highly doubtful. Surely, Burton Albion wil capitalise on this golden opportunity to take the Pixel Golf Polling Points Cup?  |

Unfortunately it was not to be for the Brewers on this day. Congratulations to Ajax fransslabak whose polling points were a bit more on point than Burton’s. This one could’ve gone either way as both sides pushed forward to the tune of 11 total goals. But it was Ajax’s quick start that likely brought them the Cup.  Bring on Season 3 and the Championship! |
