First RoundDespite most of the East Fife backroom staff being otherwise occupied searching for engravers with a working knowledge of Italian, they set out with the Jim Bowen mantra echoing in their brain. 'Keep out of the black and in the red, there's nothing in this game for three in a bed'. Perhaps this distracted them a little in the first half. Five misplaced passes mostly cancelled out a couple of good attempts on goal but they were showing some definite signs of coming to terms with the triangular pitch. Lashings of Buckfast and a couple of steak bridies at half time along with a guest motivational speech from Coach Carter saw, probably the best performance in months from Methil Milan. The Fife Juggernaut got into top gear from the start and seemed to be driven by Marty and the Doc, getting up to 88mph and going back in time to the way the game was on TGC2019 on pro settings. Five birdies, a hole in one and an eagle on the last. Regardless of whether it takes them into the next round,the East Fife fan was delighted and headed off to the Tower Bar for some celebratory Tennants.  I hate to think what it might have been without several red slows and the customary handful of red fast approaches. With that, the first result is in: East Fife - Barcelona - Canterbury United 5 - 1 - 1 Comfortable win for East Fife honeybadger64 and he moves into the quarter finals!! Unfortunately, that's it for Barcelona mbuenger and Canterbury United statelyowl ... well played but East Fife showed what the Pixel Golf Polling Points Cup is all about; having a good day when it matters. |

The Sky Blues pretended they hadn’t been knocked out and carried on regardless and still made a dog’s breakfast of things despite no opposition. Robins will need to dip into the transfer market sooner rather than later...
Round 3 -4 after being 4 over after the 4th
Round 4 -1 after being 4 over after the 7th
Moral of the game, don’t try and settle a puppy down for the night and play pixel golf at the same time Kidz.
I should add all of the above poor play was totally down to the players and not HB/2K tactics.

R1.....probably all you will need : / With that, the result of our next match is in: Ajax - Aston Villa - Carlisle United 5 - 3 - 0 Aston Villa avjpfc and Carlisle United Riotous tried to make it difficult for the erratic Godenzonen from Amsterdam, but the number of shots they fired at goal proved enough in the end to move Ajax into the quarter finals! |

I didn’t see any issues this week with Sunday playing. All bad tempo was entirely down to me except for getting stuck in bunker and to be honest I think I just picked the wrong shot type. |

I didn’t see any issues this week with Sunday playing. All bad tempo was entirely down to me except for getting stuck in bunker and to be honest I think I just picked the wrong shot type. Good on you Ben, but I did play a bit Sunday (that special event thing) and altho I scored decently for me that round had zero implications as I will not be winning the event and that is the only bene for playing that. My CC rounds still mean something to me, both here in PGF and in CC-C. |

Quarter Final....and with that East Fife take their bow and depart stage left chased by a bear. The Brazilian contingent were foo much to the fore today and with a couple of dumb errors leaving the Fifers with a mountain to climb in the second period. It was never really on the cards playing Premier opposition without any help. A strong finish will give them some hope for their efforts beyond the cup this week and will not be on cut watch for a change.

Herne Bay knew that they were up against it when they saw they had been drawn against Premier champions Cassino Calico They were seeing red as they bogied the first two holes, but managed turn things around and work their way back to -1 by the 13th. Whatever chance they had, crashed down around them by bogeying 4 of the last 5 holes for +3 Scores 5, 5, 2, 4, 6, 4, 3, 4, 3 4, 4, 3, 3, 5, 4, 4, 5, 6, Someone forgot to screen shot their scorecard fransslabak |
