Was amazed by the beauty of Germany when I visited as a teenager and was once again amazed by some quick research. Some truly stunning areas... so hard to choose. The Moselle Bend at Bremm. Would be a beautiful spot for a course right on that peninsula. The Elbe Sandstone Mountains on the border of Germany and Czechia. Looks like something straight out of Avatar.

there was a golf course my grandfather designed way up in Saskatchewan that was, at the time, unable to have short grass for greens so they had those Oiled Sand greens instead. In TW you were able to create your own textures so I actually made my own oiled sand green course there, it's actually a really cool look. Greens would definitely roll at 101 though lol Yeah, I doubt people will be too happy if I get too realistic in that sense. Which is funny because usually the complaints are about the lack of realism. The fun thing about Rio Loa is that it is the longest river in Chile, and has some really cool areas that could yield some unique(and achievable) looks in this game. Not to mention areas where grass actually grows. Here are a couple of the images that piqued my interest in Rio Loa... Also, I truly miss the ability to import custom objects, textures, backgrounds, skies, and sounds into courses. I understand that the server space is the main issue to not allow it for this game, but maybe in a future version...

This is where this competition is taking me. Random online artciles about Angola vegitation. Thanks guys My searches took me to topographic maps of Vietnam from the 1960's war period because Google Maps doesn't have contour maps of the area I'm looking at.

Are there any courses in game routed around an active volcano? Asking for a friend.

Seeing how flat and desolate Bahrain is, I have routed and sculpted the course. Just need to lay down the surfaces and I am done. Estimating maybe 3 days to do that and then fine tuning and playtesting. Expect publish next weekend.
PS - only joking of course. I do plan on some internal sculpting to make it interesting with some planting.
PPS - not sure what buildings would fit Bahrain but will have a go.
