Does the rectangle have to be 350 x 800 or can it be something like 1000 x 250 or 1200 x 200 (less total square yardage)? It has to be the 350 x 800. It's kind of an awkward size so thats part of the challenge!

I just thought of this 9 hole course in Coral Gables, FL I drive by every day I’m down there for work (we used to travel for work right?). It’s on a 1750 x 150 strip of land which has always intrigued me.

mattyfromcanada there may be hope on the horizon for the entry! I have loaded up a new project file and done quite a lot of work. If it loads when I bring it up tomorrow, I will be back in the contest! I won't spoil much until I'm closer to being done with it.

Ballina Jockey Club, actual horse track... Sandbelt ... Think Olde Musselburgh? Seeing as sandbelt courses are limited to South of Melbourne and Ballina is in northern NSW, there is no way it is a sandbelt course.

would doing this contest hurt someone's chances of joining the rookie contest next year? I assumed it would but just wanted to make sure, someone was asking me about it earlier.

Anyone can join! You automatically get entered if you publish a course for the contests. mattyfromcanada might be able to explain better

No official sign up is necessary! You sign up by publishing a course.

No official sign up is necessary! You sign up by publishing a course. Does sign up count you out of next years rookie contest?

Probably does, but not sure. Honestly, don't worry if it does. Don't wait around a year for that one contest, because you'll have wasted a ton of time in which to get better. The entry requirements change year on year anyway, so hard to know whether you'd be eligible or not.
