Didn't see a thread & didn't want to bury it in the RTTS post so thought I throw it up here for you fellow Xbox'rs. A Few days ago & a tile this morning on the Xbox home page confirmed an April 20 release is official. Finally quality baseball is coming (back) to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One!

Cross-Platform Play and Cross Progression Comes to MLB The Show!
That’s right, with The Show live on multiple platforms, users will be able to play against each other online with cross-platform play in MLB The Show 21. In addition, cross-progression allows you to earn and use content on whichever platform and generation you choose.

They just released a next-gen trailer for MLB The Show 21. Stadium Creator is coming, but it's next-gen only. Way way way back in the day, there was Earl Weaver Baseball. It is the grandfather of all computer graphic sim baseball games. I can’t even begin to imagine how many hours I logged on that game. The game was groundbreaking on many levels for those times, including having a stadium creator. It was just as fun creating those as it was playing a game. I’m looking forward to this and now makes the game a pre-order for me. |

I think that's a nice addition for those interested in creating their own environment but personally I'll stick to creating golf course's, takes up enough of my 'creative' time as it is! lol! Besides, I'm all about sim play (including real stadiums)& have no doubt that'll account for the majority of my time spent in the game!
Getting more & more pumped, been an age & a half for us Xboxer's so bring it on!! Oh ya, they could do without the puppets imo!  |

I got an invite to the technical demo on PS5. Played part of a game but it only allows you to play Diamond Dynasty single games with unlimited free packs so it was kind of boring as the games have no real point. Looked good and played as solid as ever while specifying it wasn't indicative of the final product. Didn't feel next gen so I'm assuming that will change before it releases.

From what I know about this game xbox is in for something special. I know I am going to lose some private matches on golf because of this beast.

I absolute expect it to once again be another iteration of the *best* sports franchise ever made. It will be jaw dropping for those who have never played it. Do you know if the Daily Challenge will be back? I need to finish off the career of my RTTS 1B before this game comes out. I plan of going SP for RTTS this time around. |

I play mainly golf but have started to try MLB The Show. Baseball is my favorite sport so I figured I’d give it a try.
I don’t know much about the game modes but have quickly played a few BR which is a lot of fun.
I’m also playing Ranked Seasons.
I’m slowly figuring out the hitting. I’ll take my lumps for now but my interests is the ranked seasons.
I don’t even recall how I even got my lineup as the two modes are mixing up in my head.
Am I supposed redraft for BR and not sure what to do with regard s to my rosters in Ranked Seasons.
I see in ranked seasons teams have over 200 games played with their record being shown. How long is a season or how many games is played.
