Congratulations to LEFTY79 and his Burton Albion side who are worthy champions. No shame on crushtastic and the Liverpool team who came up just short after an excellent season.
They say Football is the world's game so perhaps it is fitting that the two players contesting the final were a dude from Wisconsin who never quite explained his affiliation with a lower league Midlands outfit (I suspect a Google of teams named the Brewers as that is a Milwaukee baseball franchise) and a semi-retired opal miner from Wagamunga Creek.
We will close this thread with and move over to the Season Two one and I will leave you with a proper No Dad joke.
