 Welcome Sports Fans to the Covid Champions League Final It was a rather unspectacular Liverpool side that came out of the sheds. There were mistakes galore, and I think Wijnaldum even had a shot at his own goal. Usually a good passing side, their passes were either going out of bounds or to the opposition. We can only hope they can start to play better as the match rolls on. (-2). |

Fourth round in the books and City have left the door wide open for Celtic to grab a late goal. They huffed and puffed but never quite managed to play the fluid football they played at the start of the half, and the pitch slowing up was to nobody's liking. 68 to finish.
To be fair I was -5 thru 10 but two water balls on the par 5 11th killed me, and then the 144's got me a few times. Nice eagle at 16 salvaged something and I was a gnat's foreskin away from an ace at 17, but another 3 putt at 18 summed up a disappointing finish after the fireworks of round 3. Still, I feel that it was me out of rhythm and not the game doing me over. Really hoping to build on this next week.

Has anyone tried this 60fps-thingy on a PS4 (not pro, just the cheap-ass one)..? Can a regular PS4 even handle it? if it's any help I'm playing on PS5 and haven't noticed any discernible difference. My pixel golf is still sh!t. |

I think someone forgot to tell the teams that this game is more or less a dead rubber, both teams went at each other as if it was the first day of the season. Unfortunately for Celtic the slow start let Bristol City in to retake the lead again, but then the home team started to exert a bit of pressure on them as they peppered their opponents goals with shot after shot.
It looks like we could have an enthralling finale to this match.

Rd 2 +2 Herne Bay's new kit (controller) turned up halfway through the first half, earlier than expected. Was expecting it to turn up just in time for season two, so with a quick trip into the changing room and back out in the new threads they were ready for battle. The new kit was a bit tight, but should be more comfortable after a while. Herne Bay had a few chances of scoring, but on the 15th the pitch seemed to quicken up on the green causing a triple and allowing Tranmere a scoring chance.  |

The Brewers were determined not to let history repeat itself against a Liverpool side that throughly dominated them in their last meeting back in 2016. The boys from Burton were on form as soon as they arrived off the bus and jumped out to an early one goal lead (-10). With The Reds on the ropes, the Brewers poured on the attack (-12) and only time will tell if they are rewarded. COYB!  |

It has been sent upstairs to the VAR.

And the VAR, naturally, went against Liverpool. It appears that Robertson's fingernail has slightly brushed the ball. Kane Hemmings steps up and calmly slots the penalty. (-11)
Burton is now with an unassailable 2-0 lead at half time.

Celtic have equalised and yet it's Bristol City fans going batsh*t crazy in the away end! They get to watch a second half that means something for a change! A second 67 for me, and a made cut for the first time in forever. After a bit of time on the range decided to go for it on the 60fps option now available to us on Xbox. It's a different swing and a different game! But I am greatly encouraged, it did not feel anything like as random as I've been used to since this game came out. The putting cost me a few strokes, I was under hitting the shorter ones which was the cause of my double bogey on 7, but plenty to be happy about and this was only the first round. I knew -9 was going to be on the line and -10 looks safe. I'm -8 with 3 to play, birdied 16, salvaged a par with a putt from deep in the fringe on 17 and then made a nice bird at the last coming out of the heavy rough. Sorry to go off tangent with the golf talk, but I'm very happy with what I've just seen!  Typical isn't it? The week you make the cut there is some sort of data problem and cuts don't appear |
