Ce lt ic vs TRANMERE ROVERS
After the debacle that was Tranmere last week a freshened squad were ready to take on the green and white half of Glasgow.
1st half was a very cagy affair with both teams having chances, the only difference between the 2 teams that Celtic took their chance when Rovers did not ... Still a tight affair with Tranmere hoping to make a comeback and take their first point of the season.
Half time Celtic 1 - 0 Tranmere Rovers
R1 - 67 (-5) R2 - 69 (-3)

23 minutes in, there's an angry mob gathering demanding for the manager's head. I don't blame them, the football is woeful. Opening round 69. Should have taken a bucket and spade, I was in that many bunkers.
Good pitch this week.

Round 1 -4 Closely fought opening 20 against their Italian opponents,Man U missed a number of clear cut chances to go ahead, calcio had chances too in an open first quarter, but a lapse at the back and the Man U striker poked home to give the Red Devil’s an early lead.

Round 2 E Man U sat back after taking an early lead and a mixture of poor passing and abject defending they got what they deserved .heads went down as calcio equalised and the defenders arguing with each other.A half time bollocking is surely coming as they will need to turn this round quickly in the second half.

3rd Round -3
The 2nd half is under way and the break hasn't done Celtic any favours as they can't quite get to grips with the rejuvenated Rovers. On the 51st minute Soro managed a shot on target which was gathered by the keeper who launched Tranmere on the counter which caught Celtic short at the back.
Griffiths was through on goal in the 60th minute but he gambled on the goalie going to ground as he tried to dink the ball over him which resulted in a comfortable save. Around about half way through the 2nd half Celtic created a couple of chances through Rogic and Edouard but will it be enough to keep the visitors at bay?

Spurs bus has lost its wheels, engine and hub caps and there really was nowhere to park the bus in the last minutes of this first half!! Utter rubbish can be heard echoing around the ground and Jose out after a miserable -1
Round 2 -1
Lost my mojo at the moment and not enjoying it but will keep on grinding away and that swing can’t be far away as had it a few weeks ago..... don’t tell it’s with the hub caps from the bus 😳
Onwards and upwards and hope I can make the second half more exciting 👍

Still, at least my pixel golf football game is currently mirroring the real thing

Rd 2 +1
After being told that Herne Bay were playing in the Lock Down Cup half the the players went home to self isolate, allowing Coventry to score another easy goal. Hopefully I can cloaks them back for the second half

Stood on the first tee after that very poor first round on a scorable course, knowing I need around -7/8 to make the cut. I like the wind! A double bogey followed by a very fast off the 2nd tee and I literally lost all interest. I'm really sorry to be a downer, but the only reason I played on from there was because I'm committed to these rounds. Went through the motions and shot a 74. The manager has been sacked. Training sessions will now be run by Tweedledum and Tweedledummer. I'm not even joking.

Hello. After Jared Goff from the LA Rams helped the Dudelange squad secure the late draw in their final group game last week, the general manager received great acclaim from the local press. He even hasn't been fired for missing the COVID Champions League by one goal. Instead, they are looking forward to some interesting matchups against well known clubs with long history. The positive approach has been good motivation for F91. They started aggressively right out of the gates and kept pressing early. This seems to have impressed the youngsters from Bristol, and so F91 holds a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime. Cheers and good luck!

This game certainly seems to go in peaks and troughs for many of us. My Round 3 started off very much the same as your Round 2, 5 over after 5, after playing reasonably well up to that point. I have no idea why, it was the same bloke holding the controller. I also, having played on XB myself, understand you are dealing with a very different beast. Pro on XB for me is manageable though I have to alter my swing completely to play on it compared to PC. I can't even imagine what it would be like to play at Master level, I'm too scared to try. Keep plugging away mate. I'm expecting to see the new Manager affect over the next few weeks with the Brizzle boys firing on all cylinders out to impress. Just a shame I'll be one of those in the firing line. Up The Gas!!

Tranmere Rovers 2nd half After a decent end to the first half Tranmere know they needed to come out of the blocks flying to stand a chance in this game... Both teams had chances but it was Tranmere who actually managed to make a break through first in the 58th minute to make the game 1-1 going into the final 20 minutes. Tranmere looked tired towards the end of the game and were making some silly errors.. Can Celtic take advantage in the final few minutes and take the 3 points at home??? Round 3 - 69 (-3) Round 4 - 70 (-2)

Feeling somewhat fortunate to go in level with the mighty Spurs at the break, it was perhaps no surprise that just being on the field with Harry Kane, Son and Bale left the Fifers a little starstruck. Even the opportunity to proffer a Styrofoam cup of Bovril and a Steak Bridie to the Special One may prove to be the highlight of the day given how they started the second half. It was as if they had recruited an entire team of Ray Wilkins as they executed safe passes without any penetration or ambition, before predictably air-shotting and smacking it against each other to create chances for Tottenham. We all know they don't need charity, with all the apprentices driving Range Rovers and East Fife reliant on Ubers or indeed Reliants.
Round 3 68 (-4)

Rd 3 -4 The Bay came out for the second half having got all their players back from thinking that being in the lockdown cup meant they too self isolate and saw that Coventry were going to sit on their two goal lead and play keepise upise with the spare balls. That's alright, the Bay played with the match ball and stuck it in the back of the net for a consolation goal
Herne Bay 1 Coventry 2 going into the last 22 minutes

Manager sacked, often produces a reaction. Third round 64 which I believe has pulled a goal back against my illustrious opponent. I have no idea where that came from.
