Thank you mayday_golf83 for sending me judges comments. All valid points. I'll be honest, if I had it to do over again, I would probably design the exact same course, but I understand why I'm not moving on. Thank you to the judges and Mayo for all their hard work. |

Just wanted to throw an update in here ... seemed like the consensus during the last reveal show was to wait to do one big finale. The judges have their final four and are working through sorting out the semifinals, championship and third-place matches. Also, side contest judging is wrapping up this weekend.
So, for a results show, we're looking at next weekend and I'm open for input. The way my work schedule looks, I could likely do something Saturday early evening (7-8 p.m. ET range) or early afternoon (1-2 pm Sunday).

Early afternoon would work really well for me based on Euro-times, as 1-2pm Eastern is about 6pm here in the UK, and I know contestants like Ben and Sindre would probably appreciate it... but up to you Jeremy. No major surprises to see who the 1/4 finalists are for me.
Bragg and Deschutes have maybe fared a little better than I expected (don't get me wrong though, both top tracks.)
Sussex (my favourite) will probably take down Lonesome, but a surprise there isn't beyond the realms of possibility and it would be hard to begrudge a quality track as that is going through anyway.
Kukumbia is surely through.
Breton (my 2nd favourite) is probably in trouble as Deschutes seems to be highly regarded so far (more so than Breton anyway).
Sir Ben is already in the final, we all know that, so no major suspense there. 😆
