I stopped playing fasts as I found it boring, and not really the way to play. That left me trying for perfects on Xbox, which sometimes I got and sometimes I didn't, and the difference between each so small I found it impossible to be consistent. I'm using the past tense because I no longer play the game and won't until I get the series X and 60fps is enabled. The biggest challenge of playing golf is the battle to be consistent. Consistency isn’t supposed to be easy with golf and is not an entitlement to the sport. Of course a video game is different and we all allow for some “poetic liberty” with game play. But when I see a game provide Master or Legend level anything, I expect it to leave a bit of that poetic liberty behind. The punishment should be much more severe for mistakes on the higher difficulties. Ok, I’m up to 4 cents and all I have is a nickel ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Except on Xbox more poetic liberty is left behind. I'm hopeful series X doesn't suffer so much from this, especially if 60fps is enabled.

Yea, definitely understand the Xbox players have had to deal with more headaches in this game than the rest of us. I do hope that gets resolved. Everyone deserves to have a playable game.

I play perfects most of the time. I'll play a fast if the fairway is wide or to counter the wind. Only on the drives or anything on the fairway from the hybrid to 3 wood.
I tried playing all fasts fit a few rounds and didn't like it.
I'm a cca that makes 50% of cuts.

I play perfects here as well on xbox. Definitely gotten easier with the 60fps on the series x. Never a fan of playing for fasts, although that certainly is my bailout if I have trouble right on a difficult shot.

Use the shot shaper for draw and hit the same shots aiming for perfect , no why do that when it is so much easier to play for bad tempo than play the same shot with real draw which is a more difficult shot to pull off. Oh well people seem to enjoy cheesing the game for some reason, is it such a big deal to see your name on a virtual leaderboard that at the end of the day means absolutely nothing.

This seems to be a bit of a knee jerk reaction to me. Since when is shooting -23 for a single round in USE considered poor play? Distance, Wind, Aim, Putting,Course management, etc. Hitting a Red Fast for every single shot with no greys or VF certainly isn't automatic.
What about my video's when I demonstrate "perfects", or even hitting "slows!"? I re-published an old August video of me on the range hitting perfects, and then there's my Evangelist F9 which has "perfects", and of course, my Evangelist B9 has Red Fast Drives and Only Red Slow approaches.
Besides that, I don't get the appeal in looking down on those who play and have a different game philosophy than you. There's a lot of different and exciting ways to play this game. That's one of the reason's why I play so many different styles. Making new Charts and squeezing out the best possible play brings much enjoyment. Besides, imo the Red Fast is currently the most consistent shot in the game and A LOT of people are playing it. Hopefully some of my tips can help them improve their game.
P.s.^^ In every single Taylor Made Society Tournament on my youtube, with the exception of one, maybe 2 shots, every single approach was hit using "Perfects", as my ghost will corroborate.

I personally only play red fasts with my driver and 3 wood. I go for perfect on all other shots. Yes, red fasts is a cheese but this is a competitive game. It makes sense for everyone to try to gain a competitive advantage.
If it wasn’t for red fasts I believe a lot of players would have quit the game by now as it’s frustrating when you are missing tempo.
However, I believe that the players who have spent hundreds of hours playing exclusively for fasts would be significantly better at the game if they would have persevered with perfects. Most fasters have hit their level on TGC Tours and probably won’t improve much more than their current position. As Albert Einstein said Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Good luck to all, regardless of how you play the game.

I take it back there was some skill there in your no grid putting, pity I could not see your USE style partial pitches which like putting requires a bit of touch for distance control. I am not against you mapping out and adjust for lie, wind etc just the fact you spoil it all by using your RFA as you call it. You say the shot shaper is easier in 2K21, yes if you hit a RFA to negate the intented difficulty of the tempo box and swing plane narrowing the more hook, slice, draw, fade you put on the ball. If you plotted your way around the course using your maths to aim to hit inside the tempo box when shaping the ball with USE settings and even hit a -8 I would be way more impressed. As I said your putting is impressive, show me how good your shot shaping actually is with the intended difficulty of hitting a good tempo to get your fades and draws. You definitely are not playing ultra sim with that red fast exploit in my view.
