Season 17 - week 4 recap No time like the present to get to the action, so let's Open up the recaps with... ...the biggest total score and first in modern 32 point maximum era of HTF to exceed the previous maximum of 24 as 6 Bears and 1 Cup can take that honor to their den as they swipe out Dude Where's My Parrrr 24.5-7.5 (434-385). Bizarrely, there is just one 4 pointer and that is Azallion with his. Let's spit out this one next as Hawk Tuah Friends get on their thang over The Guiyang GIR Gang by a total of 20.5-11.5 (409-393). 1 score of 4 here too as boss man Everard gets the honors here. Bourbon sucks. There, I said it. No bias (none!), nothing to do with Bourbon, Wings and Swings winning over A Team With No Name 18.5-13.5 (416-412). One more 4 to the fold as Schoenfeld drags himself to the club. The Power Faders gets some power going to their game as they take care of business against Hedonism 2 Crew 18-14 (420-412). And, uhh... no 4s. Was on repeat for a sec. Finally, the close one this week as 9th Green at Nine has enough lives to not be afraid of the 7 Slicers and a Hooker who ate 9 but not the 9th. This one ends 17-15 (412-417) and so ends my attempt at a forced stupid joke. Furgeson with 4, by the way. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 4: I wish this next event was 2 weeks later for fun reasons, but alas it was not meant to be. Week 5 of this HTF season number SEVENteen takes us to Seven Pines (yes I'm not clever with that one, shaddap!) by Pat Louvar. No need to get clever with clear facts, and the facts are that these are your next matches: 5 A: 10. Dude Where's My Parrrr VS 6. Hawk Tuah Friends 5 B: 9. The Guiyang GIR Gang VS 7. 7 Slicers and a Hooker 5 C: 1. 9th Green at Nine VS 2. Bourbon, Wings and Swings 5 D: 8. A Team With No Name VS 4. The Power Faders 5 E: 3. Hedonism 2 Crew VS 5. 6 Bears and 1 Cup Good luck to you all!

Season 17 - week 5 recap Bienvenue au récapitulatif de la semaine 5! Il n'y a aucune raison pour ce changement de langage, je vous jure... umm, welcome. Week 5 recap, no reason to change the language, yadda yadda... Anyway, beginning recap with the flurry of big swings as again 6 Bears and 1 Cup go with the big one against Hedonism 2 Crew by a score of 22.5-9.5 (468-423). Azallion, again, with 4 points and it was also Schuiling that got there. Last season can be a sweet memory to fall back on for Dude Where's My Parrrr as they suffer a mighty defeat to Hawk Tuah Friends 22-10 (451-407). Schumacher makes short work of them with 4. More big scores as 7 Slicers and a Hooker beats up on The Guiyang GIR Gang 21.5-10.5 (436-425). Schneider finally puts up scores worthy of 4. Whiplashing into 2 close ones as The Power Faders aren't so powerful but still good enough over A Team With No Name 16.5-15.5 (435-428). Morgan gets 4 to the side with less points. Another near fall involving Bourbon, Wings and Swings as they overcome a slight shot deficit over 9th Green at Nine 16.5-15.5 (465-469). Floyd with 4 again for the side that got less points. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 5: Week 6 may not have the same Olympic feel as it's inspired by a next door neighbor across the channel, but we head off into Frensham Hollow Golf Club by Pat Knightley. Same continent, right? Anywaaaays, week 6 includes these events to go for the gold: 6 A: 6. The Power Faders VS 1. 9th Green at Nine 6 B: 3. 6 Bears and 1 Cup VS 2. Bourbon, Wings and Swings 6 C: 4. Hawk Tuah Friends VS 7. A Team With No Name 6 D: 5. 7 Slicers and a Hooker VS 8. Hedonism 2 Crew 6 E: 9. The Guiyang GIR Gang VS 10. Dude Where's My Parrrr Bonne chance! (and "au revoir" to this cheesy switch up to a timely language gag!)

Season 17 - week 6 recap Bonjour, ladies and gentlemen! Tea, crumpets, biscuits and gravy and maybe a side of sushi to all! Onto the recap! This week is SUPER tight and has brought very little in terms of opening up gaps. Olympic spirit shining bright! As is, 9th Green at Nine claws a tiebreaker of top honors away from another team as they knock off The Power Faders 17.5-14.5 (473-443). Anderegg scores a beautiful 4 in the club event. The team unfortunate enough to not get top honors is A Team With No Name who also wins 17.5-14.5 (450-448) over Hawk Tuah Friends. Double dose of 4 as Houston has one for the nameless, Beaudry has it for the Friends. 2 is greater than 7 as Hedonism 2 Crew edges out 7 Slicers and a Hooker 17-15 (442-432). Another pair of 4s as Kirk is there for the Crew, Tipton for the Slicers. And what do you know? For how rare these are, TWO ties this week. Firstly The Guiyang GIR Gang shoot much better but are unfortunate to only claw a draw with Dude Where's My Parrrr. 16-16 (432-416) is the outcome, Collins subbed out a 4 for the Gang and Ruhl and Lauzé scored 4 for the Par of 4 R's. And the other tie is between the slightly better shooting 6 Bears and 1 Cup and the resolute Bourbon, Wings and Swings, as they get the 16-16 (448-445). Stop this if you've heard it before but Azallion with the 4- oh, I stopped myself. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 6: Week 7 could possibly throw a wrench into the closeness of things as it might be a truest test of seeing who's got it and who doesn't so far. We go into Prairie Dunes (L), recreated by Toto Wolff since this is an actual course. What happens when you throw a course deemed tough enough to be Platinum into CC? Well, who knows but based on early scores, this will be rough... week 7 matches are here before anyone might get depressed: 7 A: 8. Hedonism 2 Crew VS 10. Dude Where's My Parrrr 7 B: 1. 9th Green at Nine VS 3. 6 Bears and 1 Cup 7 C: 2. Bourbon, Wings and Swings VS 5. 7 Slicers and a Hooker 7 D: 6. The Power Faders VS 4. Hawk Tuah Friends 7 E: 7. A Team With No Name VS 9. The Guiyang GIR Gang That'll do for this week! Good luck!

Season 17 - week 7 recap Tough, rough week this week. Let's see where the lucky seven shone and which camps were left in eternal darkness of night... As it was, gaps were forming and the gulf between competitors and outsiders may have grown for good as A Team With No Name sends The Guiyang GIR Gang deeper into the trench with a big 23-9 win (358-306). It was a 4 point affair for Morgan and super sub Tough. Thanks Ben if you see this! This was the top match of the week starting position wise and it ended up creating differences as 9th Green at Nine knocks down 6 Bears and 1 Cup 21-11 (370-337). Floyd with 4 for Nine and stop it if you heard this one before but Azallion with 4- GOD DAMMIT NOT AGAIN! The Power Faders power up and fade out Hawk Tuah Friends by a score of 20.5-11.5 (348-323). This one does not have a 4 point scorer, ending the streak of recapped matches with a 4 point scorer at 13 matches in a row. Dude Where's My Parrrr has a bit of a surge late in the season as they win against Hedonism 2 Crew 17.5-14.5 (323-316). Aaaand no 4s. Starting to feel weird after a couple of weeks of guaranteed 4s... And a close one wraps this one up as Bourbon, Wings and Swings try to fly closer to the golden Tee sun as they narrowly slice up 7 Slicers and a Hooker 16.5-15.5 (365-347). The only 4 goes the edged out side as Cheghall gets 4. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 7: Week 8 is going to be the one to see where teams slot up for the final week afterwards. Much to play for yet for many but will Manhanset Point by Jake Smith be the one that is good for said teams or bad? Who knows but here's where we start slotting teams around to ready them up for the grand finale week: 8 A: 9. The Guiyang GIR Gang VS 3. The Power Faders 8 B: 10. Dude Where's My Parrrr VS 2. Bourbon, Wings and Swings 8 C: 8. Hedonism 2 Crew VS 4. A Team With No Name 8 D: 7. Hawk Tuah Friends VS 1. 9th Green at Nine 8 E: 5. 6 Bears and 1 Cup VS 6. 7 Slicers and a Hooker Good luck, just a little more to go! (for this HTF season and the TGC one, may luck shine on you for the championships and better luck next season if it already hasn't!)

Season 17 - week 8 recap Welcome to a new calendar week. Here's the news that happened on the week of 11th-17th of August... Bourbon, Wings and Swings smoke Dude Where's My Parrrr 21-11 (415-359). Four pointers to Higgins and Jones of the C variety. Also the scoreline but smaller shot gap in this one: A Team With No Name have a party on Hedonism 2 Crew 21-11 (412-390). Fours points for Loe and Houston. More big scores in 9th Green at Nine over Hawk Tuah Friends as this one goes 20-12 (394-379). No 4 pointers. A strange one here as 2 outsider subs are used. 7 Slicers and a Hooker uses theirs to full strength as they use him to dislodge 6 Bears and 1 Cup 18.5-13.5 (380-367). Slicers get a weird gift as most likely for the only time ever, a CC-A non-member Ekman gets 4 points. The Guiyang GIR Gang get a big W of the power variety over The Power Faders 17.5-14.5 (398-376). One more club member in Loft who goes for 4. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 8: This is it. Week 9, last of the HTF season. And almost it for TGC too, with no future yet in sight for new game or anything at this time. We do know a battle is at hand for gold, but almost symbolically and ironically we're headed to Silverton Forks by Axel Von Fersen. Who's got gold, silver and bronze to their teams after this week is said and done? Plenty to play for and lots of team interested this time around so here we go, these decide the outcomes: 9 A: 5. 7 Slicers and a Hooker VS 4. The Power Faders 9 B: 7. Hawk Tuah Friends VS 6. 6 Bears and 1 Cup 9 C: 10. Dude Where's My Parrrr vs 3. A Team With No Name 9 D: 1. 9th Green at Nine VS 8. Hedonism 2 Crew 9 E: 2. Bourbon, Wings and Swings VS 9. The Guiyang GIR Gang One more time: good luck to all, for HTF and TGC championship pursuits!

Season 17 - week 9 recap We're finally at the end of the season and let's just get things over with.... A Team With No Name may or may not have a name but it certainly thrived by beating Dude Where's My Parrrr 19.5-12.5 (428-393). Houston with 4 points. 9th Green at Nine left nothing to prove by partying over Hedonism 2 Crew 19-13 (426-394). Clark with the 4. The Power Faders took on the task of beating fellow chasers 7 Slicers and a Hooker 18.5-13.5 (416-402). No 4s. Bourbon, Wings and Swings went ahead and took care of The Guiyang GIR Gang 17-15 (394-388). No 4s here either. Closest race this week was Hawk Tuah Friends over 6 Bears and 1 Cup 16.5-15.5 (404-404). One more time this season, stop me if you've seen this: Azallion with 4. NOTABLES OF WEEK 9 AND FINAL LEADERBOARDS: That's that for this season. Until next time, whenever that may be!

Is it about to be that time again?!
Yes, it is! Welcome aboard to all the gentlemen, ladies, children, adults and anything in between! Yes, TGC season is back and so is Happy Tee Friends for season 18! And so am I as your writer, reporter and all that, but enough about me! This time, it's a format of 72 battle-tested and attrition-filled players who are insane enough to embark on their 3rd TGC season in this game in the quest too find the new game! Or, to find out what CC has to offer, one or the other...
It's a simple concept: 72 players divided into 12 teams of 6 players, one each from pools 1-6. Top guys in pool 1, and those with more struggles on courses in 6. Each team goes against each other once, so that makes 11 matches and thus, 11 weeks. First round of the week is against your rival a pool higher or lower (1v2, 3v4, 5v6), second is a pairs match which rotate through team members every week. Third round is your pool versus the guy on the same one, and fourth round is a "shoot your best and get ranked accordingly" round where you get ranked up and score points from best score to worst compared to your opponent.
Reports go to either the TGC forum, or in the score reporting channel on Discord, either by writing out your scores under par (example: -12 -14 -13 -11 = -50) or by screenshot of your summary at the end of the week. Also, if you take a break in between and feel like reporting the progress you certainly can!
Winner gets the Golden Tee, second and third get Silver and Bronze. Top point scorer gets the Sky Blue Tee as the MVP, and the unluckiest of all, at highest score per point average, gets a Brown Tee for trying their best but not getting points.
Week 1 kicks off in a few hours at Playa Saona by Ben Page. Don't forget now!
Cheers, good luck!

Season 18 - week 1 recap Welcome back! Here we write the recaps of each week and update the situation during the season, much like what you're about to witness! Off we go then! The leader on the forefront after week 1 is currently the unnamed team of Team A who busted The Foreplay Fellas in a quickie by taking them out 16.5-7.5 (292-288). Captain Robertson kicks his season off with a 4 point week, although his team naming has yet to kick off... we'll keep you updated! Bourbon, Wings and Swings are not swinging far behind as they take the swing of things early on at the expense of the interesting team name of Driver? I Hardly Know Her! 16-8 (325-303). No 4 pointers on offer here. The Ball Bashers are probably banned from all Panda Expresses around the world for about a week, after they beat the representative team of the franchise in question 14.5-9.5 (312-306). Barrett gets 4. Last season's returnee winning name 9th Green at Nine gets it going with a W over No Holes Parred (which must have been a lie this week) 14-10 (311-299) . Higgins on the no par side gets 4. Who's Your Caddy is, ahem... blueballing The BlueBallers 13-11 (305-300). Such a close win is a blue ball situation! No 4 pointers. First tie is on the first week as The Birdie Brigade and Karma K Meleon slug it out to the tunes of 12-12 (298-285). No 4 pointers, as you would expect. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 1: (new: total of how many best rounds each player has, number in brackets = how many in total that player has for the season) Week 2 takes us to Caledonia (meta) by Ali Calder. This'll be a popular venue this week, featured in two tours at the same time (CC and TST). Some of the double timers might feel fatigue on this course after 8 rounds, but for now, here's how the HTF CC matches look this week: 2 A: 10. Panda Express VS 6. The Birdie Brigade 2 B: 9. No Holes Parred VS 12. The Foreplay Fellas 2 C: 7. Karma K Meleon VS 1. Team A 2 D: 2. Bourbon, Wings & Swings VS 8. The BlueBallers 2 E: 3. The Ball Bashers VS 5. Who's Your Caddy 2 F: 11. Driver? I Hardly Know Her! VS 4. 9th Green at Nine Cheers, good luck!

Season 18 - week 2 recap Another week down, a bit later than some might hope but here we go... The Ball Bashers are bashing them so far that there's legitimacy to ask Who's Your Caddy to find them all as they win 16.5-7.5 (313-281). Loe & Steinbach get 4 points this week. 9th Green at Nine (it would be a bit over 9 PM as of writing this line if not for time flips on the previous night) remind about thier existence to Driver? I Hardly Know Her! by score of 16-8 (303-279). No 4s here. The Glory Hole Six, under their new name, go for glory as they deal a bit of karma to, uhh... Karma K Meleon (okay that was forced) at a rate of 14-10 (299-288). Robertson with another 4 and is 8 for 8. Watch this be a jinx. The Birdie Brigade use the 4th round blitzkrieg of halves and full points to take out some Panda Express 13.5-10.5 (288-271). No 4 pointers found. Two similar scores wrap up the week so by using bigger shot margin to break ties, The BlueBallers like edgy results, this time winning over Bourbon, Wings & Swings 13-11 (300-288)- No 4s. And finally, a bit of a here or there match as The Foreplay Fellas play No Holes Parred to same amount of shots (291-291), yet winning 13-11. No 4s. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 2: Week 3 brings us to Seneca Golf Club by Alex Jones. I don't think it's THAT Alex Jones... probably. Looks like a potentially tough course and/or setup this week, so let's see how it goes with these matches: 3 A: 5. The Birdie Brigade VS 1. The Ball Bashers 3 B: 10. The Foreplay Fellas VS 4. Bourbon, Wings & Swings 3 C: 9. Who's Your Caddy VS 7. Karma K Meleon 3 D: 6. The BlueBallers VS 2. The Glory Hole Six 3 E: 3. 9th Green at Nine VS 11. Panda Express 3 F: 12. Driver? I Hardly Know Her! VS 8. No Holes Parred Cheers, good luck!

Season 18 - week 3 recap Another week down, so let's see what happened around the HTF world... The Foreplay Fellas came to play by beating Bourbon, Wings & Swings 14.5-9.5 (267-243). Simon from the Fellas with the 4, Löfström from the Swings with 4. The Birdie Brigade bashed some balls, in expense of The Ball Bashers 14-10 (263-259). Lots of .5s here, but no 4s. Next up some tiebreaking through shot margin, Karma K Meleon is the caddy against Who's Your Caddy having taken them down 13.5-10.5 (257-247). Tagariello from the Caddy side with 4. Some real blue balling next as The BlueBallers shoot less as a unit but win over The Glory Hole Six 13.5-10.5 (238-246). Colinger with 4 for the Six. Panda Express took some out to the golf course and feasted on the ninth as they took out 9th Green at Nine 13-11 (269-250). No 4s here. No Holes Parred are the second squad this week to shoot less but score more as they get over Driver? I Hardly Know Her! 12.5-11.5 (235-239). No 4s here either. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 3: Week 4 takes us to Glades Branch by Finlay Hedges, despite TGC website as of writing has not made it official. This guy only has two courses to his name on the TGC listings and both have made it it this early season, hooray! Let's celebrate by taking a look of these tasty biscuits of matches: 4 A: 5. The BlueBallers VS 10. Panda Express 4 B: 11. Who's Your Caddy VS 12. Driver! I Hardly Know Her! 4 C: 8. The Foreplay Fellas VS 4. The Birdie Brigade 4 D: 6. Bourbon, Wings & Swings VS 2. 9th Green at Nine 4 E: 7. Karma K Meleon VS 1. The Ball Bashers 4 F: 3. The Glory Hole Six VS 9. No Holes Parred Cheers, good luck!

Season 18 - week 4 recap Alright, let's do this. Two big winners this week? Time to split the tie by shot margin... 3 shot difference?! Welp, The Foreplay Fellas beat The Birdie Brigade 18.5-5.5 (293-252). Maneese, Schoenfeld and Tipton with 4s. 9th Green at Nine also took a big win by taking down Bourbon, Wings & Swings 18.5-5.5 (305-267). Floyd and Schuiling with 4s here, the club is filling up fast! Another fairly big win but less so that the two above is The Ball Bashers walking over Karma K Meleon 15-9 (303-287). Loe continues on his run with a 4. Another tie splitter here. Due to them being in the positive with shot difference, Driver? I Hardly Know Her! finally know what winning is by picking one over Who's Your Caddy 12.5-11.5 (276-270). No 4s in here. The BlueBallers are blueballing Panda Express next, winning 12.5-11.5 despite their worse shot total (263-273). Azallion with 4 for the Express. Finally, one tie this week as No Holes Parred shoots more under par but has to settle with a 12-12 (283-273) with The Glory Hole Six. Higgins with 4 for the no hole pars. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 4: Here should be an interesting one to see what they do for week 5. The course is Bryn Awelon (P) by Scott Stearns. The (P) usually could stand for a certain tour, but it's what I assume is "promotional event" since it debuted as such 2 seasons ago, then was used in Elite last season and now it gets the CC treatment. So, we'll see how it goes but for now, here's what we've got for this week: 5 A: 4. The Glory Hole Six VS 7. The Birdie Brigade 5 B: 2. The Ball Bashers VS 6. No Holes Parred 5 C: 1. 9th Green at Nine VS 10. Who's Your Caddy 5 D: 5. The BlueBallers VS 3. The Foreplay Fellas 5 E: 9. Panda Express VS 11. Bourbon, Wings & Swings 5 F: 8. Karma K Meleon VS 12. Driver? I Hardly Know Her! Cheers, and good luck!

Season 18 - week 5 recap We're LIVE for a special treat this week, if you were here then, you were there... Panda Express claims the big win this week over Bourbon, Wings & Swings 17.5-6.5 (324-296). Azallion & Balcombe with 4s this week. 9th Green at Nine is rolling good on the green as they beat Who's Your Caddy 16.5-7.5 (313-272). Standen & Lauzé take the 4s here. Karma K Meleon takes out the so far not so good Driver? I Hardly Know Her! 15-9 (309-304). The big boss Everard gets himself a nice 4 pointer. The Birdie Brigade marches on over The Glory Hole Six 13.5-10.5 (275-283). No 4 pointer action here. The BlueBallers are better at blueballing and need to foreplay as they get one over the hump on The Foreplay Fellas 13-11 (295-287). Everyone got blue balls of no 4s. And finally in the last one, No Holes Parred found the hole of victory over The Ball Bashers 13-11 (292-289). No 4s here either. NOTABLES AND LEADERBOARDS, WEEK 5: Week 6 is held at Sovereign City Golf Links by Richard Hall. Nothing too strange history-wise this time, so a new one on tour. Here's how things go in week 6: 6 A: 12. Bourbon, Wings & Swings VS 7. Karma K Meleon 6 B: 9. The Birdie Brigade VS 1. 9th Green at Nine 6 C: 11. Driver? I Hardly Know Her! VS 3. The Foreplay Fellas 6 D: 6. Panda Express VS 10. Who's Your Caddy 6 E: 8. No Holes Parred VS 5. The BlueBallers 6 F: 2. The Ball Bashers VS 4. The Glory Hole Six Cheers, good luck!
