Season 13, week 8
Quick fire recap this week:
Big winners this week: Hong Kong Hookers over Beer Swings and Wings by a score of 18-6. Barrett scores 4 for the Hookers.
More misery: From Fore to Fir suffers a loss to Bogey Boys 6.5-17.5. Oakey gets 4 for the Boys.
Still in it to win it: Par None neutralizes Weapons of Grass Destruction 17-7. Budel almost seals the deal for the Sky Blue tee with 4.
Up again: Up & Down Brigade steals victory from Back 9 Bandits 15.5-8.5. Anderegg with 4 for the Brigade.
Close call: We Love Lamp apparently sucks but still wins over Designated Drivers 12.5-11.5. Loft's 3.5 maybe the decider with no one else at even 3.
Leaderboard through week 8. Mathematical tee contention entirely over for one team, 3 or 4 others finding it impossible. 5 teams could still win the Golden tees with 24 points on the line, but 2 are running away at the front for best dibs. Biggest battle is for 3rd place to get bronze. No changes in positions to last week so no point to add those in.
1. We Love Lamp 122 points / -2402 2. Par None 117 / -2325 3. Up & Down Brigade 104 / -2287 4. Hong Kong Hookers 102 / -2237 5. Bogey Boys 99 / -2227 6. Designated Drivers 91 / -2158 7. Weapons of Grass Destruction 86 / -2254 8. Beer Swings and Wings 82.5 / -2223 9. Back 9 Bandits 82 / -2197 10. From Fore to Fir 74.5 / -2168
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) update: Budel is almost safe at 26 points / -389. Only 3 people hold a chance to win from last week's 24: leader Budel, second placed Loft at 23, and a Hail Mary needed for... uhh... Pihlman at 22. Who even is that guy?!
Week 9 is the final week of season 13 for team competition. It takes place at Pacifico Park by Matthew Fritsch, or Matt F., or whatever. Anyways, who will find the Pacific sun to shine brightest on them after the week is over as they get to claim tee-like accolades? That's left up to these final matches during week 9:
9 A: 7. Weapons of Grass Destruction vs 8. Beer Swings and Wings 9 B: 10. From Fore to Fir vs 2. Par None 9 C: 9. Back 9 Bandits vs 6. Designated Drivers 9 D: 5. Bogey Boys vs 1. We Love Lamp 9 E: 3. Up & Down Brigade vs 4. Hong Kong Hookers
For one last time for this team portion of the season of HTF: cheers and good luck!

Season 13, week 9
One final week of this season in the books, and two big winners this week. Hong Kong Hookers hold the bigger win margin through shots so they get first dibs in their 3rd place match against Up & Down Brigade that they won 15.5-8.5. Balcombe and Schumacher end up leading them to the bronze step with their 4 pointers.
Another big winner is another impact player for tees, as Par None does what they still can by dispatching this season's unfortunate team From Fore to Fir 15.5-8.5. No 4 pointers here, which is a bit strange but good team effort from all.
However, their fight did not amount to enough as We Love Lamp comes from behind on the last day to knock out Bogey Boys 15-9. Who else could it have been but captain Pihlman who puts the dagger with a 4 pointer on the last day, with all the pressure on him. I still don't know who that is, despite him being the one with the most 4 pointers this season!
Designated Drivers drive over Back 9 Bandits 14.5-9.5. Solid season ender for them for a mid-table finish. No 4 point club members to add, however.
And match A was this week's close one, Weapons of Grass Destruction over Beer Swings and Wings 13-11. Higgins ends strong on a 4 on the losing side, in a slight twist to the usual formula.
Top score(s): Higgins -70 4 point club: Higgins, Pihlman, Balcombe, Schumacher
Leaderboard thru final week. One change in position all week that impacted one tee winner. We Love Lamp holds on through their 2 week stretch in weeks 6 and 7. Par None has been one of the more consistent ones in points scored and are probably a bit unlucky to not take home the gold, and Hong Kong Hookers rise to 3rd when it mattered after slipping out of top 3 on week 3.
1. (NC) We Love Lamp 137 points / -2706 2. (NC) Par None 132.5 / -2624 3. (+1) Hong Kong Hookers 117.5 / -2526 4. (-1) Up & Down Brigade 112.5 / -2546 5. (NC) Bogey Boys 108 / -2517 6. (NC) Designated Drivers 105.5 / -2438 7. (NC) Weapons of Grass Destruction 99 / -2537 8. (NC) Beer Swings and Wings 93.5 / -2498 9. (NC) Back 9 Bandits 91.5 / -2453 10. (NC) From Fore to Fir 83 / -2451
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) winner and top 3: Budel wins with 29 points / -433. Loft in second with 26.5 / -389, Pihlman finishes 3rd with 26 / -392.
The future is currently murky with events being messed up, and the SOTS Cup was supposed to be here and currently ongoing, but we'll definitely return soon with these readalongs along with a new season of TGCTours! Until then, cheers and good luck!

Season 14 - intro / week 0
We are back! TGCTours is back in full swing and so is Happy Tee Friends! And so is yours truly, the course side competitor and reporter once again this season!
Swinging fuller and harder than ever! SEVENTY-TWO players across 12 teams of 6 players compete in the longest and most grueling season of HTF yet, spanning a total length of 11 weeks to see which team gets to the coveted Golden Tees this season, and once again one player with best point scoring gets the Sky Blue Tee. With a wide variety of present superstars, older returnees and newer, fresh faces looking to make impacts this season, this should be a fun ride to go through!
Simple stuff: 4 CC rounds a week, report round scores relative to par (example: -13, -12, -15, -10 = -50) through writing them out or via screenshot. To save stress late in the TGC week, this is hoped to be done as soon as you have something to report.
Asilomar Trail by Nick Geiman is the week 1 course of season 14 of HTF. Here's the lineup of matches for the week set to kick off in a few hours (missing team names updated as soon as possible once known):
1 A: Dude, Where's My Par? vs Designated Drivers 1 B: Shanghai Stiff Shafts vs Hole Patrol 1 C: Delivering Strife vs. The Hatless Cantlays 1 D: Beers, Wings and Swings vs Been There, Done That 1 E: Mad Suicydal Oaks vs Golden Happy Legends 1 F: On A Trip Down Under vs Bogey Boys
Good luck! Cheers!

Season 14 - week 1
Going through these fast from biggest win to closest match, as per usual (trying some slight tweaks to the format as well):
Dude, Where's My Par? slaps Designated Drivers with a score of 18.5-5.5. Dietrich and Schumacher with 4 pointers to kick the season off.
Hole Patrol is too much for Shanghai Stiff Shafts to take, drilling them with a 15.5-8.5. No 4 pointers.
Delivering Strife leaves The Hatless Cantlays into the wind with 14.5-9.5 win. No 4 pointers.
Bogey Boys are scoring well over On A Trip Down Under as 14-10 suggests. Solid team effort here, no 4s.
Been There, Done That is slightly better than Beers, Wings and Swings by 13-11. 5 2 pointers, one 3.
Golden Happy Legends shoots 2 better, end up in a tie with Mad Suicydal Oaks. 12-12 final.

Season 14 - week 2
So it looks like Dude, Where's My Par? is off to a blistering start this season, delivering pain to Delivering Strife by a score of 17.5-6.5 for the biggest win margin this week. Aerts snipes out a 4 pointer on the winning side.
Mad Suicydal Oaks continue the woes of Designated Drivers by knocking them down 15.5-8.5. Williams at the top pool takes a 4 pointer.
Tiebreaking these next 2 based on winning margin of strokes, as per usual. On A Trip Down Under stuff up Hole Patrol by 3 shots and a score of 14-10. Gorski scores 4.
And here's a bit of a rarity as half of the winners were outshot: despite being outshot by 5 shots, Shanghai Stiff Shafts got the better of Beers, Wings and Swings by a score of 14-10. No 4s but a whole lot of 3s and 2s.
Another tiebreak: Bogey Boys are up first, outshot by 2 but on the winning end against The Hatless (hope you find the hat soon!) Cantlays by a narrow 12.5-11.5 scoreline. No 4s to report.
And outshot by 3 and still winning are Golden Happy Legends over Been There, Done That 12.5-11.5 after a 5-1 comeback in round 4. No 4s here either.
Top individual / team score: Santos -70 / Dude, Where's My Par? -333 4 point club: Williams, Gorski, Aerts
Leaderboard after week 2. As usual, changes of position from previous week to this week in brackets after the current position and NC means no change:
1. (NC) Dude, Where's My Par? 36 points / -621 2. (+5) Mad Suicydal Oaks 27.5 / -558 3. (+1) Bogey Boys 26.5 / -595 4. (-2) Hole Patrol 25.5 / -579 5. (NC) Been There, Done That 24.5 / -590 6. (NC) Golden Happy Legends 24.5 / -555 7. (+2) On A Trip Down Under 24 / -581 8. (+3) Shanghai Stiff Shafts 22.5 / -581 9. (-1) Beers, Wings and Swings 21 / -591 10. (-7) Delivering Strife 21 / -573 11. (-1) The Hatless Cantlays 21 / -565 12. (NC) Designated Drivers 14 / -543
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) race update: Dietrich still leads in a tie with Aerts thanks to tiebreaker. 7.5 / -122
Alrighty, next up is Paragon Valley by Richard Hall. Who soars high like an eagle, who's experiencing the low valleys of a bad week? Let's find out through these matches on week 3:
3 A: 9. Beers, Wings and Swings VS. 4. Hole Patrol 3 B: 2. Mad Suicydal Oaks VS. 11. The Hatless Cantlays 3 C: 7. On A Trip Down Under VS. 5. Been There, Done That 3 D: 3. Bogey Boys VS. 6. Golden Happy Legends 3 E: 1. Dude, Where's My Par? VS. 8. Shanghai Stiff Shafts 3 F: 10. Delivering Strife VS. 12. Designated Drivers

Season 14 - week 3
Quickfire round because I've Been There, Done That... as they conquer things On A Trip Down Under by a score of 19-5. Not 9 to 5. 19 to 5. Taylor, Beaudry and Homerick are the terror trio with 4 points this week.
Delivering Strife deliver and designate more pain on Designated Drivers by a score of 18-6. Cheghall sweeps up 4 points to himself.
Mad Suicydal Oaks have probably tossed the hats of The Hatless Cantlays to one of them oaks by a score of 16.5-7.5. No 4 point reports here.
Beers, Wings and Swings for hole digging as they toss Hole Patrol in one by 16-8 score. Tipton tippy toes into a sneaky 4 pointer.
Bogey Boys run up the score on Golden Happy Legends and take things home 15.5-8.5. Saly gets 4 for them boys.
No close ones this week as Shanghai Stiff Shafts stiffen up the top runner going into this week in Dude, Where's My Par? 15-9. Gilmore with a 4.

Season 14 - week 4
The writer has been under the weather this weekend with the flu (still is, only seems to have gotten slightly worse) so gonna be fast on this. If this looks more unhinged and more all over the place than usual, you now know why.
Been There, Done That has obviously experienced some Hole Patrolling in the past by knocking that out 18-6. Löfström strikes for 4 points.
If Mad Suicydal Oaks fall in the forest, do they make a sound? No one knows, but they made some noise against Beers, Wings and Swings 16-8. Threes and twos all around.
Designated Drivers are still looking for their first this season, Golden Happy Legends ran their show this week 16-8. No fours.
Bogey Boys are unlucky to be shooting the same total score and still ended up losing out to Shanghai Stiff Shafts 13.5-10.5. No fours.
On A Trip Down Under, there were some narrow margins that were Delivering Strife to one, mostly in R4. 12.5-11.5 to the ones currently Down Under. No fours here either.
Dude, Where's My Par? is now asking how did they score 17 better yet lost out to The Hatless Cantlays 12.5-11.5. Martin had some answers with 4 points... for the losing side.
Top scores, individual / team: Stivers -71 / Mad Suicydal Oaks -284 4 Point Club: Martin & Löfström
Leaderboard after week 4:
1. (+2) Been There, Done That 61.5 / -1216 2. (NC) Mad Suicydal Oaks 60 / -1156 3. (-2) Dude, Where's My Par? 56.5 / -1209 4. (NC) Bogey Boys 52.5 / -1172 5. (+1) Shanghai Stiff Shafts 51 / -1160 6. (-1) Delivering Strife 50.5 / -1139 7. (+2) Golden Happy Legends 49 / -1076 8. (-1) Beers, Wings and Swings 45 / -1171 9. (+1) On A Trip Down Under 41.5 / -1140 10. (+1) The Hatless Cantlays 41 / -1113 11. (-3) Hole Patrol 39.5 / -1128 12. (NC) Designated Drivers 28 / -1058
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) race after week 4: unfortunate circumstances to previous leader Aerts on week 4 blows the race wide open. 3 players on 12 points, Gilmore leads on tie break. 12 / -250.
Week 5 heads out to a tough sounding Club Montecampione by Alex Jones. Which teams are the "campiones" on the mountain this week? Let's see who goes against who in a battle of gladiators this week, the fifth of its kind this season:
5 A: 7. Golden Happy Legends VS. 8. Beers, Wings and Swings 5 B: 11. Hole Patrol VS. 12. Designated Drivers 5 C: 3. Dude, Where's My Par? VS. 9. On A Trip Down Under 5 D: 4. Bogey Boys VS. 2. Mad Suicydal Oaks 5 E: 5. Shanghai Stiff Shafts VS. 10. The Hatless Cantlays 5 F: 1. Been There, Done That VS. 6. Delivering Strife

Season 14 - week 5
Another week is down, and Dude, Where's My Par? enjoys a sweet victory On A Trip Down Under who they knock off the bucket list with a score of 17.5-6.5. Last week's unfortunate Sky Blue casualty Aerts comes back in fine form, scoring 4.
Not to be too far outdone and keeping up with the previous winner, Been There, Done That brings pain on Delivering Strife by a score of 17-7. Homerick snags up 4 points for himself and the team.
Then it becomes much closer fast, as The Hatless Cantlays take their hatless-ness out on Shanghai Stiff Shafts, using them as a hat rack once they find some hats by a score of 14.5-9.5. There are no 4 pointers here.
Mad Suicydal Oaks are still a forest (or force-st) to be reckoned with as they successfully trade blows with Bogey Boys to a tune of 13.5-10.5. Williams grows himself a 4 pointer.
Beers, Wings and Swings beat their opponents so cruelly they have a name change and another person is off their team to be replaced, as former Golden Happy Legends, now The Revolving Doors go down 13-11. No 4s.
And finally in a battle of the bottom, no one really wins as Hole Patrol shoots 3 better but can't put out the winless Designated Drivers, this ends in a 12-12 tie. Nobody scores 4.
Top scores, individual / team: Stivers & Taylor -58 (5 players with -57 right behind!) / Dude, Where's My Par? -271 4 Point Club: Aerts, Homerick, Williams

(-2) On A Trip Down Under 48 / -1349 12. (NC) Designated Drivers 40 / -1297
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) race after week 5: Williams now leads on 15.5 / -300 after his good week.
Week 6 is headed to Pilchuck Creek Golf Club by Adam Trenton. Notably, first time this guy has a course on tour! Let's celebrate the occasion with these matches on week 6:
6 A: 9. The Hatless Cantlays VS. 1. Been There, Done That 6 B: 7. Beers, Wings and Swings VS. 2. Dude, Where's My Par? 6 C: 8. Delivering Strife VS. 3. Mad Suicydal Oaks 6 D: 5. Season 14 - week 6
Not a lot of huge wins this week, so Beers, Wings and Swings to all for a competitive week... and for said named team who knock off one of the top runners Dude, Where's My Par? 15.5-8.5. Jobs well done for Santos and Loft who each score 4 points on the week.
Delivering Strife cause a forest fire by lighting up Mad Suicydal Oaks by a fine score of 14.5-9.5 for another knock to a top runner going into the week. No 4 point club members this week in this match.
Bogey Boys continue the pain of Designated Drivers who are still left to look for a fare (or a win), this one ends 14-10. And again, nobody joins the 4 point club.
Been There, Done That might be the luckiest team this week as they manage to increase their point lead this week ever so slightly, beating The Hatless Cantlays 13.5-10.5. No 4 pointers here either.
Shanghai Stiff Shafts go On A Trip Down Under to do something about those stiff shafts, come out just a bit stiffer as they win 12.5-11.5. Interestingly, 4 pointer to Gorski on the Trip side.
And at the bottom of the sheet in match F, a tied up match between the slightly better shooting The Revolving Doors and Hole Patrol as it ends 12-12. Nobody joins the club.
Top scores, individual / team: Stivers -68 / Been There, Done That -299 4 Point Club: Santos, Loft, Gorski

Who will run closer to the top of the table by the end of the week? Who will run too close to the sun and burn trying to do that? The matches look like this so let's get to figuring it out:

Season 14 - week 7
Let's rock this one fast since we're on a new week already. Lucky week for some, not so for others...
Top battle of the week between 1 and 3 is the big margin... or biggest as this week is really close. Dude, Where's My Par? keeps things interesting by knocking down season leaders Been There, Done That 14.5-9.5. Nobody quite joins the 4 point club.
14-10 is the winning score for Bogey Boys over Hole Patrol. Let us mention a 5.5-0.5 win in R4 turning the tide for good, since no one gets to 4 points.
Next one down is The Hatless Cantlays over The Revolving Doors by a score of 13.5-10.5. Early run for the no hats gets it done. Nobody gets 4.
Designated Drivers go On A Trip Down Under to solve their woes, come up with no souvenirs as this one ends 13-11 for the Trip. Semsi with 4.
Shanghai Stiff Shafts like to rough it up in shot difference (-31 better) but not on the scoreboard, as a narrow 12.5-11.5 sees 'em past Mad Suicydal Oaks. No 4.
Delivering Strife politely decline the Beers, Wings and Swings by 12.5-11.5. Gaudreault to join the small club of 4s this week.
Top scores, individual / team: Bordeaux & Gilmore -71 / Bogey Boys -334 4 Point Club: Semsi, Gaudreault
Leaderboard thru 7 weeks:
1. (NC) Been There, Done That 101.5 / -2100 2. (+1) Dude, Where's My Par? 97 / -2076 3. (-1) Mad Suicydal Oaks 94.5 / -1940 4. (NC) Bogey Boys 91 / -2006 5. (+1) Shanghai Stiff Shafts 85.5 / -1957 6. (-1) Beers, Wings and Swings 85 / -2015 7. (NC) Delivering Strife 84.5 / -1963 8. (NC) The Revolving Doors 82.5 / -1861 9. (NC) The Hatless Cantlays 79.5 / -1932 10. (NC) Hole Patrol 73.5 / -1980 11. (NC) On A Trip Down Under 72.5 / -1927 12. (NC) Designated Drivers 61 / -1870
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) update: a tie up top but Taylor leads over Williams on tie break. 20 / -424
Week 8 is at Gorilla Garden by Trevor Hoops. Let's go swinging (some already have in a big way) to those tees through these matches:
8 A: 4. Bogey Boys VS. 1. Been There, Done That 8 B: 11. On A Trip Down Under VS. 9. The Hatless Cantlays 8 C: 3. Mad Suicydal Oaks VS. 10. Hole Patrol 8 D: 6. Beers, Wings and Swings VS. 12. Designated Drivers 8 E: 7. Delivering Strife VS. 5. Shanghai Stiff Shafts 8 F: 8. The Revolving Doors VS. 2. Dude, Where's My Par?

Season 14 - week 8
Well, after a couple of weeks of close contests, this week blows the gaps a little more open...
Dude, Where's My Par? unceremoniously knocks the teeth out of The Revolving Doors 21-3. Martin and Aerts with 4.
The Hatless Cantlays lay a smackdown to On A Trip Down Under 18.5-5.5. Stivers and Hutchinson with 4.
Been There, Done That dampen up Bogey Boys 17-7. Löfström and Beaudry to join the 4 club.
Shanghai Stiff Shafts throw down the pain on Delivering Strife by 16-8. Applegate goes with 4.
Beers, Wings and Swings continue the winless misery of Designated Drivers 15-9. Loft snipes up 4.
Hole Patrol dug one under Mad Suicydal Oaks to trip them up 14.5-9.5. Only match this week with no 4 point scorers.
Top scores, individual / team: Löfström -75 / Dude, Where's My Par? -363 4 Point Club is a crowd: Löfström, Beaudry, Stivers, Hutchinson, Loft, Applegate, Martin, Aerts

Season 14 - week 9
Running down towards the end, how's things ending up for week 9?
Hole Patrol dig a big one under The Hatless Cantlays that ends up reading 17-7 in favor of the Patrol. Robertson and Tagariello score 4 points for them.
Bogey Boys may have been the team of bogey men to Delivering Strife as they take the win with 15.5-8.5. Kirk got a 4 for the Boys.
Dude, Where's My Par? leave some environmentalists mad as Mad Suicydal Oaks got knocked down 15-9. No 4 point scorers here.
Beers, Wings and Swings were needed On A Trip Down Under as that was good for a 14.5-9.5 victory. Loft with a 4 pointer.
Been There, Done That does this and does that to Designated Drivers, leaving them waiting for a win again with 13.5-10.5. What's not been done much is who scores 4: Homerick, Talley and Ruhl get 4 for the winners, Titots and Bordeaux get 4 for the Drivers for a grand total of 5 players across both teams.
Shanghai Stiff Shafts and The Revolving Doors battle it out to a sort of limp 12-12 tie. R4 comeback of 5.5-0.5 give the Shafts an escape to that tie. No 4s.
Top scores, individual / team: Santos -82 / Hole Patrol -357 (3 teams all finish at -354 and 2 more at -349, what are the odds?) 4 Point Club: Kirk, Homerick, Talley, Ruhl, Titots, Bordeaux, Robertson, Tagariello, Loft
Leaderboard after week 9 and oh boy is it a close call for a lot with 2 events and 48 possible points left to go:
1. (+1) Dude, Where's My Par? 133 / -2793 2. (-1) Been There, Done That 132 / -2802 3. (+2) Beers, Wings and Swings 114.5 / -2695 4. (+2) Bogey Boys 113.5 / -2679 5. (-1) Shanghai Stiff Shafts 113.5 / -2652 6. (-3) Mad Suicydal Oaks 113 / -2619 7. (+2) Hole Patrol 105 / -2676 8. (-1) The Hatless Cantlays 105 / -2564 9. (-1) Delivering Strife 101 / -2615 10. (NC) The Revolving Doors 97.5 / -2505 11. (NC) On A Trip Down Under 87.5 / -2575 12. (NC) Designated Drivers 80.5 / -2517
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) after week 9: Martin still leads with 26.5 / -511. With 8 scorable points left, 31 out of 72 players are still within that range of the leader.
Week 10, first of its kind for HTF seasons, goes to North of the Border Tour by Troy Stokes. Who gets a magical pre-Christmas adventure north of the border, and who gets stopped at the border checkpoint and have to turn back? Week 10 have these matches to decide the amount of possible drama left for the finale that is week 11:
10 A: 10. The Revolving Doors VS. 9. Delivering Strife 10 B: 4. Bogey Boys VS. 3. Beers, Wings and Swings 10 C: 11. On A Trip Down Under VS. 6. Mad Suicydal Oaks 10 D: 7. Hole Patrol VS. 1. Dude, Where's My Par? 10 E: 12. Designated Drivers VS. 8. The Hatless Cantlays 10 F: 2. Been There, Done That VS. 5. Shanghai Stiff Shafts
Good luck!

Season 14 - week 10
Where did things go on the penultimate week before the grand finale? Let's take a look...
The Hatless Cantlays show no mercy and run over Designated Drivers into one more win attempt on week 11 by giving them the cold 20.5-3.5 score line. Stivers, Hutchinson and Simon are the trio of terror with 4 points each.
Beers, Wings and Swings are looking mighty spicy by knocking down Bogey Boys 18.5-5.5. Santos and Loft are good here with their 4 point contributions with 2 more 3.5 ones.
Hole Patrol trip up Dude, Where's My Par? 17.5-6.5. Van Eyk helped dig the big hole by scoring 4.
Delivering Strife are still delivering what they can by taking care of The Revolving Doors 15.5-8.5. Nicholas, Schuiling and Weldon with the 4s.
Been There, Done That have definitely been to Shanghai, evidenced by their win over Shanghai Stiff Shafts 14-10. Interestingly, Applegate with 4 for the non-winning side.
Mad Suicydal Oaks narrowly escape On A Trip Down Under, fending them off 12.5-11.5. Only match with no 4 point scorers.
Top scores, individual / team: Stivers -69 (nice) / Hole Patrol -312 4 Point Club: Nicholas, Schuiling, Weldon, Santos, Loft, Van Eyk, Stivers, Hutchinson, Simon, Applegate
Leaderboard update after 10 weeks. Been There, Done That lead by 6.5, meaning they need 18 to clinch the championship outright over Dude, Where's My Par?. Interesting battle for 3rd as Beers, Wings and Swings that could still climb to 1st or 2nd manage to pull a gap to the rest of the hopefuls with their week 10 performance. Mathematical odds of tees are gone for any teams outside top 9, which sees The Revolving Doors, On A Trip Down Under and Designated Drivers relegated to spoiler role for the week, although the last mentioned might still want a win that has eluded them to have something positive for their season.
1. (+1) Been There, Done That 146 / -3097 2. (-1) Dude, Where's My Par? 139.5 / -3072 3. (NC) Beers, Wings and Swings 133 / -2999 4. (+2) Mad Suicydal Oaks 125.5 / -2911 5. (+3) The Hatless Cantlays 125.5 / -2861 6. (-1) Shanghai Stiff Shafts 123.5 / -2931 7. (NC) Hole Patrol 122.5 / -2988 8. (-4) Bogey Boys 119 / -2956 9. (NC) Delivering Strife 116.5 / -2882 10. (NC) The Revolving Doors 106 / -2755 11. (NC) On A Trip Down Under 99 / -2860 12. (NC) Designated Drivers 84 / -2767
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) race after week 10: 3 way tie at top with 28 points, but Stivers leads on commanding tie break, being over 200 shots better than the others tied in 1st with 28 / -683. 12 people still have mathematical odds of winning.
Week 11 wraps up the team portion of the HTF season and the longest of them so far, as it takes our battlers to Greenmont CC by Ben Page. I don't know who this guy is, he may have had a couple courses on tour sometime ago, like last week or something. These matches of week 11 decide a lot at the very end:
11 A: 7. Hole Patrol VS. 9. Delivering Strife 11 B: 12. Designated Drivers VS. 6. Shanghai Stiff Shafts 11 C: 2. Dude, Where's My Par? VS. 8. Bogey Boys 11 D: 10. The Revolving Doors VS. 11. On A Trip Down Under 11 E: 1. Been There, Done That VS. 4. Mad Suicydal Oaks 11 F: 3. Beers, Wings and Swings VS. 5. The Hatless Cantlays
Cheers, good luck! May the best team and player win, well deserved after the longest season yet!

Season('s greetings!) 14 - week 11
One last push on this long season, and in the spirit of Christmas, lots more sharing was done than usual but let's get the big presents out first...
Speaking of big, Shanghai Stiff Shafts are the biggest of the week as they leave the Designated Drivers without a single win this season as they end up with a 17.5-6.5 victory. Balcombe comes home with a 4 point showing.
Hole Patrol have made a big push late in the season and they finish in arguably the best form with another big win over Delivering Strife 16.5-7.5. Horan and Furgeson finish with 4s.
Mad Suicydal Oaks cause some grey hairs to championship favorites Been There, Done That by beating them 14-10. Lots of 2s in this one, but it's Decicco with the sole 4.
Half of the matches end as ties this week, biggest difference in shot margin was found in the match of On A Trip Down Under and The Revolving Doors who found a gap of 9 strokes. No 4 pointers here.
Next match in a tie with the next largest shot margin was between Bogey Boys and the other championship challenger Dude, Where's My Par? who find a gap of 8 strokes. No 4s here either.
And finally with just 4 shots between them, the final match recap goes to The Hatless Cantlays and Beers, Wings and Swings who were among those to battle for 3rd. And much like the other tied matches, no 4s.
Top scores, individual / team: Gilmore -66 / Mad Suicydal Oaks -288 4 Point Club: Horan, Furgeson, Balcombe, Decicco
Final standings of season 14. Been There, Done That end up holding on to the lead they had and they secure the Golden Tees over Dude, Where's My Par? who take 2nd and the Silver. Neither finish out strong in week 11 but the 6 point gap ended up being a little too much at the end. In the battle for Bronze, it was a valiant chase effort from teams behind them but the week 10 gap increase of Beers, Wings and Swings was enough to keep them ahead of the pack for 3rd.
1. (NC) Been There, Done That 156 / -3359 2. (NC) Dude, Where's My Par? 151.5 / -3340 3. (NC) Beers, Wings and Swings 145 / -3257 4. (+2) Shanghai Stiff Shafts 141 / -3215 5. (-1) Mad Suicydal Oaks 139.5 / -3199 6. (+1) Hole Patrol 139 / -3261 7. (-2) The Hatless Cantlays 137.5 / -3123 8. (NC) Bogey Boys 131 / -3232 9. (NC) Delivering Strife 124 / -3115 10. (NC) The Revolving Doors 118 / -3010 11. (NC) On A Trip Down Under 111 / -3124 12. (NC) Designated Drivers 90.5 / -3008
Sky Blue Tee (MVP) final: Stivers went to the lead after week 10 and hung on with a solid week 11 to finish 1st outright even with a formidable tie breaker on his side with 31 / -748. Aerts may have won this if not for week 4 woes for 2nd, Loft finishes in 3rd.
Right, SOTS Cup is up next. ALL HTF PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED TO PLAY INCLUDING SUBS AND FORMER PLAYERS, JUST POST THE SCORES LIKE USUAL FOR WEEK 1. 16 best scores of week 1 qualify to week 2. Here's the 2 week CC schedule right on time for this:
Week 1, qualifying: Claymotte Ridge (Tour) by Matthew Fritsch
Week 2, SOTS Cup matchplay tourney: Vissvass GK (T) by Axel Von Fersen
Thanks for another season! Hyvää joulua!
