I played today in 4K, it still ran at a steady 60, but honestly I didn’t not see a marked improvement, probably because it is just upscaling it, so I’m just sticking with 1080, I may try more 4K stuff when I unlock developer mode Thanks for this report. When you say you played it in 4K, was the Series S showing the video res was set at 4K? I'm just wondering if the Series S has a "4K" video res setting, since it can't run natively in anything higher than 1440p? I don't think the hardware on the TV takes much of a hit upscaling to 4K, but then again, I see a huge difference between native 4K and upscaled 4K. I will say though that I can detect an improvement of upscaled 4K over native 1080p. Yes the series S has a 4K setting, oddly I don’t have 1440 available but my tv is pretty cheap for a 55 inch 4K |

i am no techno but i have a pretty new 4k LG TV and when i set it to 1440 it reckons it won't play on that settings and goes to 4K also i can change the sync from 60 to 120 on the series S

The good news is the series s gives everyone who cannot afford a $1200 graphics card or scalped system a chance to play and play future versions too, even if the next game comes out for the older systems I bet it will run very bad on them

I'm getting more crashes and freezes these days, and now for some reason the animation stops short of playing the shot, including putts, and I have to restart my controller or console.
I also lost haptic feedback on putts, which for the moment anyway seems to have come back.

Game is unplayable for me today too. Eternal loading screens, lags, microstutters, you name it.
Needless to say that i had the worst round i ever played on pro setting without one single birdie and 3 bogies.
This is kind of getting out of hand.

I played 2 rds between 4:15 and 5:30 AM EST today and the game ran smooth. |

i think it's a bit hit and miss game been running smooth over the weekend today been freezing quite a few times

My game never freezes but I still have problems like delayed swings and the putter refusing to swing through all the way that keep me in beer league.
I get 78 down 38 up. For example this week I missed the cut shooting -5 for the 1st 2 rounds but I shot -12 for the last 2 rounds hitting the same shots due to delayed swings in the 1st two rounds. I hope when I can get the Series X this will improve with more imput points on the controller.
