Having played the Kinetic test event I think that pro swing will not only give a lot more enjoyment to Xbox players I also think it will bring Xbox scores a lot closer to Playstation. While it will certainly be easier on Playstation I don't think that matters. Perfect is perfect, and its no longer so much more difficult to achieve on Xbox.
Looking forward to trying the special events test too, that looks interesting.
For the first time in a long, long time I want to practice!

Gotta say, i really like the settings of the test event at the special events' society. They put more emphasis on your feel for distances instead of the mathematics you normally use. I would love that for the pro tours, feels right.

If anyone is interested in Ultra Sim - they are moving to Pro Swing as well and are looking to get some more XB players. 4 round events run Sunday-Saturday and they do cross-platform leaderboards - would be nice to get some additional XB players There is a Pre-Season event on now at East Lake - Season 4 starts on Sept. 20th and the schedule is all RCR courses only. Give it a look if you're interested.. Is anyone else having the occasional very fast out of nowhere? In Band of Brothers Pro for once I had decent tempo but then two consecutive very fast ( and with strong haptic ) strokes. This cost me a bogey. A restart solved it.

From what i've seen the first three weeks after switching to pro:
i guess it's safe to say the gap has NOT gotten smaller one bit.
The scores on PS are ridiculous and we're not getting there on XB.
Sure, everyone can go low now but good players on PS have their perfect tempo on automatic scoring sub -60 every tournament.
But...that's just my personal observation; maybe it's time to stop caring about scores.

Above link shows that the % of cuts made by platform isn't all that far apart with the one week of sample size we have. In all the tours from Platinum to CC-L in week 1 there was a grand total of one player who scored -60 or better. Give TGCTours credit for trying to do what they can to adjust with what is given to them by HB/2K. Sorry to all for butting in. I felt anecdotal observation should meet a bit of data. Carry on. |

Don't apologize, it's all good. I'm just frustrated with my game as it is and that could well be my mistake for the most part. But on the other hand, i don't see parity between platforms anytime soon. And i never even would consider blaming it on TGCT. It's a bitter pill every XBoxer has to swallow and it has been since the first installment, so i tend to think the devil is in the hardware, or software, or the combination of them. The sub -60 tourneys happen a lot in the other cross platform society i play in and i'm seeing a fair discrepancy to the scores on the XBox. So don't take this the wrong way, after all it's a rant caused by frustration and don't we all need to vent our anger over this game every now and then? |

Series S/X Freezing:
I'm on Series S. Anyone else getting a lot more freezes at the moment? I've been getting a lot more in recent days. The game just completely freezes for a couple of seconds then just carries on like nothing happened. It was so bad last night (about 12 hours ago) I was getting worried the old glitch had returned. It's alarming when it happens mid-back swing. Luckily I've managed to abort in most cases.
