Series S/X Freezing: I'm on Series S. Anyone else getting a lot more freezes at the moment? I've been getting a lot more in recent days. The game just completely freezes for a couple of seconds then just carries on like nothing happened. It was so bad last night (about 12 hours ago) I was getting worried the old glitch had returned. It's alarming when it happens mid-back swing. Luckily I've managed to abort in most cases. yes have noticed more frequent freezing over the last few weeks actually.

Game no longer freezes and looks crystal clear on my 1x in 4k on the same TV. Also plays smoother than b4 update. Others have had different glitches on Series S but I've yet to hear of one with graphic issue like mine. Anyway I am completely satisfied with the move back to 1x.

The game used to freeze on the Xbox one x but only for a fraction of a second it’s a lot worse on the series x 4 or 5 seconds , it’s been like that since the series x released.

Yep +7. I was getting no freezes for ages but must have had 6-8 per round last night. Annoying.

freezing really bad this morning That's weird, after my previous nights' experience I played 2 rounds last night without one single freeze. I've given up trying to explain how this game works and just go with the flow! (or lack of)

Recently got a series S, very enjoyable, smooth 60 and quick loading What display are you using with your Series S? From what I understand, the Series S is designed to deliver 60 FPS at 1440p, but I always wonder if you have to have a display that can display 1440p, natively to achieve that. My 2018 vintage TCL Series 6 HDTV runs at native 4K (2160p). I have a Series X and there are a few games I wanted to try to force to run at 1440p, just to see what kind of performance improvement I might get out of them, but I see no way via the Series X or my TV to "force" 1440p. My guess is that if a Series S, which has a native display res of 1440p, is connected to a native 4K display, it will upscale the output to 4K. I don't *think* that upscaling would affect the frame rate, but I can't say for sure.

Did anyone get a forced update recently for their XBox controllers? I got one last week for my Elite 2 controller and I think I did something that disturbed it during its installation via XBox Live, and now I can't get the thumbstick to trace the swing axis. The tempo is also much more difficult to hit post update. I've gone into the swing calibration tool within PGA TOUR 2K21 and can't get any help there either. It's just as difficult to trace the swing axis there as it is anywhere else in the game. My swing axis goes from 7 o-clock to 1 o-clock when I'm trying to hit it straight. When I compensate and consciously push the stick from 5 o-clock to 11 o-clock, it results in ton of "very fast" tempos.
I'd love to be able to force a new update on my Elite 2 controller, but there doesn't seem to be a method for doing so. Anyone else experienced this? It's destroyed my game in PGA TOUR 2K21!

Are you signed up for xbox early access? I ask because I was part of the delta ring and got a controller update pushed to my elite 2 maybe 2 weeks ago. Totally ruined my swing plane. I literally could not make a 1 foot putt as the line was impossible to control.
I then opted out of early access and the previous fw version was reinstalled to my elite 2 and my swing plane went back to normal.
