I've recalibrated. I say a prayer before each round. I wear wolfsbane around my neck every evening or morning to ward off evil. I drink a couple shots of tequila to loosen my fingers up. I bought ultra Metronome which helps with timing. I've gathered enough data that indicates that I should be playing my rounds between 3 and 4:45AM, EST, for optimum results. That and the Titleists........... Game on. #allabouttalent #prideoverfun #HBand2Karethedevilindisguise I’m with ya. I just bought the longest damn clubs I could find. Maybe then when I hit a duck hook with water in front of me it will carry! |

All but four xbox players on the pro tour leaderboards (all four on kinetic) have demotion marks currently. Kinda crazy or maybe a weird coincidence.

Have not made a cut on xb1 in beer league since the update. Ive tried recalibrating now so I will see how the next week goes.

I'm thinking the announcement re next season is going down well?
Time will tell - pro difficulty I imagine will still be easier on Playstation ( never having played the game on Playstation I cant really know ) but at least Xbox players should enjoy the competition, and the game, much more than the majority of us do now.
I quit trying, Master was too frustrating on Xbox, so any change is fine with me.

The gap will still be there but I think (or rather, hope) it will lessen a little with the change. Time will tell I guess. If they go through with it following the backlash that is. This seems infinitely more reversible a decision than the red fast patch. But I hope they try it out at least. Quick plug. I made a society last week on Xbox called 'Pro Swing Sim'. Pro difficulty and true sim settings. The console gap will still be there for sure, but I agree that the game is way more fun on Pro vs. Master on XB at the moment, so I'm pumped about the change. |

I’m a CC-L player going into season 8 and I can tell you just from a few rounds I’ve played on pro I’m hitting more perfects than on any round in Master. I think I agree with others that it will come down to putting. If you’re able to manage the flat stick you can score now.
For reference I just played Akashi Shore Rd 1 settings. Shot +7 on Master settings and shot E on Pro. Couple of dumb mistakes with the putter otherwise I’d have been under par.

I played Pro with the Series X and PS4 controllers on PC and tbh there is not any difference difficulty wise because Pro is so forgiving. With Master there is a huge difference in controllers. |

What riles me is the whinging and moaning going on regarding the new seasons swing settings from a few Playstation users.
Banging on about how they have worked so hard to get to the level they are at, how using pro swing negates the skill they apparently have practised so hard to acquire on master.
I say bullshit! How much skill did it take them to go on Youtube and learn how to calibrate so that hitting perfects is easy? They truly are a joke.
They will I'm sure still have a big advantage on Pro swing, but hey, if they want to leave TGC as some have threatened then I say good riddance. Such a self centred and selfish attitude, as well as deluded.

On a lighter note, is anyone else having problems with haptic?
Mine doesn't work at all which makes putting interesting. I've gone back to the old fashioned way using Judgement, but I certainly need practice!
