It’s ok Dave one day you’ll catch up. Actually who am I kidding you got no flicking chance. To those who think think I’m going to play tour rounds on both systems I won’t be. First it’s its not in the spirit of good competition and second they can tell if you played on both systems and anyone doing it should be banned. Always more entertaining around here when you’re a dominant player. You were missed in TGC19 😂

-5, E, -3, +1 (-7) on Xbox.
Had it going well in R3 and just imploded back 9.
Round 4, I struggled with some poor tempo swings (my fault) and a few crazy VS/VF that didn’t make much sense. But my putting was just awful. I missed a few inside of 5 feet and blew a few past the hole like a tool.
I don’t mind the putting on this game. But 187 greens feel very unnatural inside 10 feet. Maybe just a mental thing. I far and away preferred 187 in the last game but not in this one.
There are a few players scoring well on Xbox consistently now. Nothing close to what some are reporting but good enough to be competitive I would guess. I’m not one of them obviously but maybe they can represent better than last game.
Anyone have a general guide to no wind meter? I’m playing half-filled about 12 mph but no clue if that’s correct.
Nice course!

Finished -22 with a double on 18 always feels nice, some good some bad but still learning especially when putting speeds change really tough to get a feel of the weight.
Thats some shooting steve nice work, also hammo good to see the old aussie back mate.
Quick question for doyley anyway we can lock sloan in the clubhouse and let us back out for a couple more rounds to make it look more competitive?

Played really poor golf this event (-18 finish). Didn’t feel comfortable on or around the greens on this course. Don’t think I made a putt over 15’, and had at least one short putt snap on me despite the beads barely moving.

Got around in -5/-2/-4/-5 to finish -16. Still off on reading putt lines.

After saying last week that I was done fiddling with my bag...I don't think I am. I've finally given in and gone to the bazooka driver like everyone else (used to carry the 288 TM), but feel like I may well need to swap up to the less forgiving, but longer TM irons in combo with 4 wedges and better spacing at the top-end. Really want to get it figured out and just stick with a setup, hard to trust a swing when you keep changing things, for me at least.
Anyway, poor putting in round 1 and just generally crappy approach shots, finished at -6 I think (TGCT.com website is showing 1 fewer stroke under par than what it says in game for some reason). Great round by Jacko that I saw on the PC leaderboard, very nice to see at least a handful of guys continually improving and playing well on the PC side, hope I can catch up to that level of consistency sooner rather than later.

Limped to a 69 in R2. Swung it awful (so awful putting some extra forgiveness in my bag made no difference). Missed three putts inside 10 feet and got stuck behind a tree. Redeemed myself with a couple of late birdies but still a pretty poor show.
Tough conditions though. Anyone going better than 65 in that round has done very well. Like you i really need to settle on bag of clubs and stick to it. Maybe the ones i used yesterday....

Felt like a much better round2, after reverting back to the first set of wedges I used in this game, though I'm not sure that had much to do with it. btw, putted through this because it's an exhibition so what does it really matter (predictably a 3 putt), but just to define what's allowed and what isn't, want to make sure this is an instance in which we can chip/flop/whatever, right?

And 19 was a far easier game than the current one.
