I finally had three good scores in a row and was like -20 something after 3. Then I played the 4th and lost all interest when Sloaner popped up on the leaderboard at -40 or something.
I’ve figured out the speed for now but so many putts that l hit look “in” to my eye only to just barely slide by. I’ve noticed this from the beginning. It’s like the greens break differently in the new game and I can’t figure how exactly.

Pretty sure he's playing pc first to learn the rounds.

It’s ok Dave one day you’ll catch up. Actually who am I kidding you got no flicking chance.
To those who think think I’m going to play tour rounds on both systems I won’t be. First it’s its not in the spirit of good competition and second they can tell if you played on both systems and anyone doing it should be banned.

Liking your own post, I would say I'm surprised, but I'm not 😂. And you're not likely to be banned from doing it in the exhibition events. You'll only get banned if you get caught 🤦🏻♂️.

As if 2020 wasn’t ass-backwards enough, now I’m agreeing with the legend. I think I’ll seek professional help.

Made to feel a LOT worse by excellent scoring from jivesinatorI got hot and Sonoma has tight landing spots & many short approaches, which both play to my strengths. It’s the type of course where it’s easy to avoid big scores but hard to go super low. 64-64-63-64 for -33 total. FWIW with Sloaner, the only event that he has finished on PC was the one at the Buck Club, and I think he played the two consoles a couple days apart iirc.

I think what you’re saying here is something I’ve heavily considered but haven’t figured out a good way to do, but could be dead wrong in my reading of it.

Finally bit the bullet. Ive been playing my own way with mixed results. Seen a lot using the 295 and fasting it. So b4 r4 i bagged it and shot -8 -11 last two rounds and i bogeyed the 18th in rd 4 for a 60. Played 2 more rounds after in other tgc events and had -11 in both bogey free on both. Think ive been converted. The extra distance makes a massive distance and ive found im hitting loads of wedges and shorter irons into greens now so we will see. Putting still needs improvement but double figures under par every round is heading in the right direction for sure. Steves figured the best way to get it round so far thats for sure. Nice shooting sloan!!!

I think what you’re saying here is something I’ve heavily considered but haven’t figured out a good way to do, but could be dead wrong in my reading of it. Here's my bag. I am also a 294 driver advocate, though I hit perfects enough that I'm confident in hitting perfect rather than fast. The perfects are also why I say that tight courses and shorter approaches play to my strengths as those favor players with high FIR and GIR numbers. The biggest focus in setting up that bag is to minimize the jumps from wedges to irons and from irons/hybrids to woods. I have them both filled pretty well here, though because of roll/low trajectory effects on long irons and woods, I'd like the hybrid slot to be around the 200-210 mark. The biggest one that may be odd is the huge gap between sw and lw; that is purely based on short game, especially splash shots. If I had the same long set of wedges, there would be a massive gap between 20 and 30 yards where I'd have to rely on partial shots, which is a weakness for me. Because of the longer distances for pitch shots in 2K21 I can rely on those for anything short of full sw distance (side note: pitch shots are great for high winds). Full list of clubs: Driver: Purple Bridgestone TOUR B JGR (max distance + swing plane) 3 and 5 wood: Bridgestone TOUR B JGR (same story) 4 hybrid: Ben Hogan VKTR (high distance + distance control) 5-9 iron: TaylorMade P790 (high distance +max swing plane) PW-SW: Purple Ben Hogan Equalizer (high shot shaping + distance control) LW: Silver Ben Hogan Equalizer (high forgiveness + distance control) mostly used for short game

We're asking a few of those that have it on both systems to play the exhibition events on both - so no we will not ask them to do it and then ban them lol. And yes, they are well aware that it's not acceptable to do this during the actual real events.

Just started with a 61. Several huge slices of luck along the way - holed a 30 footer on the short Par 3 then aced 16.
Found something with the tempo after calibrating earlier. Swing lines a bit wonky at time, even with the putter
