Earnings Standings for Season 2
We have now completed 3 Majors and season 2 is heading for home. We have 1 more Major, the Team Competition and Tour Championship remaining.
Pro Am Standings:
1. DoinitforJohnny 5574 2. Dungarvoner 4733 3. Nico612000 4563 4. Mattttyb 4016 5. BarryLavety 3988 6. Godfather 3845 7. Bretmac 3651 8. Parbuster 3637 9. Muscavado 3499 10. Animalmother 3247
It would appear that Doinitforjohnny has an impressive lead but he is no longer part of the Society so that 800 point lead is within reach.
Pro Society Standings:
1. Djflower 8021 2. Steve_ads 6851 3. Slake_Moth 6567 4. Shamrockdawg 6228 5. Oaklandish_Bros 5306 6. Tompep1 5280 7. Sizzlean 5166 8. Omahaak 4675 9. Wardie 4609 10. Ufgatorkyle 4468
Dj "The Jamaican Bomber" Flower seemingly has a huge lead but he is currently on a sabbatical from the Tour following his 4th win of the season. It's possible that the next 3 may catch him but the Ls Vegas bookies still have DJ as the favourite.

Tournament Summary
Pro Am Society - Guinness Cup
Portmarnock GC north of Dublin hosted the Pro Am Society where Harbingerofhate prevailed by one shot over FaFaDaddy and The Greek Tiger. Due to a scheduling error the players had an off day today but have to play 36 holes tomorrow.
Pro society - South Asian Challenge
A brand new course on 2k21, Black Mountain, in Thailand played host to our Pro Society in a rare trip to steamy southeast Asia. There's nothing like 95 degree heat and high humidity combined with a very hilly course to take it's toll on some players. Zippy_burger and PhpBlast tied for the win and WillyFatstax was 2 shots back. Both Mr. Burger and Mr. Blast collected their first wins on the Pro tour. The Pros are at Shinnecock where they have there hands full on treacherous greens.

Tournament Summary
Corvettepros returned after an unexplained hiatus to pull off a rare feat by finishing in the Top 10 in both the Pro Am and Pro Society events!!!
Pro Am - European Open
Germany's Green Eagle Nord was the site of the European Open where Dungarvoner held off a final round charge by Chill3211 to win by won shot.
Top 3 finishers:
1. Dungarvoner 2. Chill3211 3. Shooter_McGago 3. Bretmc 3. Corvettepros69 3. Godfather70305
Long Island Memorial
One of America's great old courses lived up to it's reputation as being one tough course. The large greens are treacherous and factor in some wind and any round under par was a great score. Shinnecock will be featured again in a future season as it play's host to a Major where the conditions will be even more diabolical. A couple of newcomers took the top 2 shots so look out old timers!!!
Top 3 finishers:
1. AllBagNoShaft 2. Wheatdog24 3. DCX_Vortex

Tournament Summary
It was Shootout time again which is a welcome change after slogging through a few tournaments with high winds and tough conditions. While the conditions may not be tough the pressure lies with the fact that a bogey or even a couple of pars will be enough to knock you out of contention.
Pro Am Society - Motor City Shootout
The newly released Detroit GC was the site and while the holes were not quite as short as in past Shootouts the scores were outstanding with 20 players finishing within a few strokes of the leaders.
Top 3 finishers:
1. GolfWhacker 1. Godfather 1. Bobfather
Pro Society - Bermuda Triangle Shootout
Lots of familiar names in the Top 10 however a newer member tied for the lead. My name is easily found by going to the last page of the leaderboard which seems to have become my new home.
Top 3 finishers:
1. EastCoastGolfer 1. Whineycracker 3. Dungarvonver

Tournament Summaries
Pro Am Society - Northern Scotland Cup
The lessor known course at Prestwick proved no match for our Tour after rains softened up the greens. Near record numbers of players broke par out of the 85+ members who played. Conditios won't be so gentle for the British Open which starts later today.
Top 3
1. Godfather 1. Justwanchope 3. Bretmc 3. Chill3211
Due to their stellar play over the past 20 rounds Godfather and Justwanshope have been promoted to our Pro Society.
Pro Society - Mexican Championship
The Tour Commissioner obvisously spent more time on the golf scourse in school than in Georgraphy class. The Mexican Championship was played in Majorca!!! At least they speak Spanish so I go that right.
Congrats t Slake Moth on his 4th win of the season. He now has earned a little break and will return to the Tour shortly.
Top 3
1. SlakeMoth 2. Sizzlean (always in the Top 10!!) 3. Zippy Burger (2nd high finish in a row!!) 3. Sanchez73 3. Bob English 3. BamaGolfer

Tournament Summaries
Pro Am Society - Saurkraut Bowl
We found a hidden gem to host this tournament. Narrow fairways and nice hole design greeted our members.
Top 3 finishers:
1. Dungarvoner 2. Bobfather 3. Trausermusik 3. Buschparty 3. fasttracksports (this new member proved you don't need to upgrade your clubs to play well....-14 with basic clubs!!)
Tour Officials are continuing to monitor play in order to keep the Pro Am Society as enjoyable as possible for everyone. All Top 5 finishers will have their score histories. The basic guideline is that if 7 or more of your last 20 rounds are 62 or under I will be promoting your to the Pro Tour Society.
Pro Society - New Zealand Cup
Mauri Cliffs is an unusual and tricky course where the driver is best left in the bag and many holes have significant elevation changes.
Congratulations to our Top 3 finishers:
1. Loki521975 2. Abhooks 3. Shamrockdawg 3. Bamagolfer
Next up for both Societies is the British Open at Royal Birkdale. A tip....score well in Round 1 because each successive round gets a bit more challenging.

Tournament Summary
The fourth and final Major has been completed leaving only our Team Competition next week (stay tuned for an announcement on how to enter) and the season sending Championship.
Congratulations to all the entrants, there were many amazing scores considering the difficult conditions in the final round. Many newer members were caught by surprise by the conditions and voiced their unhappiness. The mandate of the Societies is to offer a variety of real courses as well as offering different conditions and challenges. Our "Shootouts" are set to be very short and easy and gives you an opportunity to shoot very low scores. Most other events are set up to offer moderately challenging conditions with wind and fast greens. Majors are designed to test your ability to handle a wide variety of conditions with the final round always being set at up to be extremely difficult.
Congratulations to our Top finishers in each of the Major Divisions:

Tournament Summaries
Pro Am Society - Del Monte Forest Amateur
1. Bretmc 2. Alexhoying 2. HarbingerofHate
Pro Society - Saurkraut Bowl
1. Soudge55 1. Bamagolfer64 3. Traffic-8 3. ALKitts81
Outstanding scores in both societies as everyone is clearly improving. Early in the season about 30% of the players were above par now it is less than 10% are over par in a tournament. The Pro Society has slightly more difficult conditions than the Pro Am where I rarly push the difficulty levels to their highest.
For newer members who are struggling don't get frustrated this is a tough game when the winds are at high or above and the greens are at very firm. I try to vary the conditions from tournamentto tournament so there are opportunities to go low.
Good luck to the 25 players who signed up for the GGT Team Event. We play this event near the end of every season. Keep an ye out for it in Season 3.

GGT Team Event results:
Round/Day 3 results are in.
The final round consists of the cumulative score of your team against the other 5 teams.
At the end of Day 2 Team USA 2 had an insurmountable 5 point lead so all they needed to do to secure the Ryder Cup was tie one match. However the real battle was for 2nd and 3rd place. Team Canada was leading Team Europe by 3 points and only needed 1.5 points on Day 3 to secure secure 2nd place.
Canadians are know to love their beer and the team discovered the hard way that combining Scottish Beer and whiskey is a lethal combination when they decided to celebrate their fabulous 8 points in Day 2.
On Day 3 the hard partying Canucks did the unthinkable and lost every match in Day 3.
Day 3 Points:
Team USA 2 5 points Team Europe 4 points Team World 2 3 points Team World 1 2 points Team USA 1 1 points Team Canada 0 points
Final results are as follows:
Team USA 2 24 points Team Europe 15 points Team Canada 14 points Team USA 1 7.5 points Team World 2 7 points Team World 1 6.5 points
Congratulations to Team USA 2 members: Shamrockdawg Sizzlean74 Traffic8 Whodate31697
The matches were much closer than it appears with 65% of the twosomes being decided by less than 5 strokes and on Day 3 only 10 strokes separated 5 of the 6 teams.
A special thank you to Traffic_8 for assisting with the formula development. Without him I would still be entering and tabulating the scores.
We will have a Team Event in season 3 as well. Do people like the idea of teams based on geographical location? We do have many excellent players from Canada, Europe and Australia but most of the entrants are from the USA for some reason.
This is not meant to be a competitive event and it's open to all skill levels. Don't fear that you might let your team down because you aren't shooting in the in the low 60's.
Looking forward to any feedback.

Tournament Summaries
Pro Am Society
Black Mountain in Thailand played host to the tournament. Nothing like a hilly course, rain and 95 degree heat to make a tournament difficult. Congratulations to first time winner Giancs22.
Top 3 finishers:
1. Giantcs22 2. TSteve914 3. Masekpmel
Pro Society - Del Monte Forest Amatuer
Oh what a contrast one event will make. Del Monte is wide open and next up is Hrbor Town were the fairways are narrow and treelined.
Top 3 finishers:
1. Zippyburger 2. Pie_Z_N21 3. Soudge55
Both tours are now playing the Qualifier for the Tour Championship. The top 25 plus past event winners will move on to play the final at St. Andrews
